To be fair, put of the problem in the Ukraine at the moment is that if you don’t agree politically, you can just take to the street, make a mess and all that.

I think everybody needs to stop being angry and protesting, they need to calm then progress can be made.
 
I’m hearing this from a number of navy types I know: Troop movements and aircraft activity imply a Russian invasion outside of Crimea in
Ukraine is imminent. Either Russia will be invading Eastern Ukraine or they want Kiev to think they will be.

State Border Service of Ukraine reported concentration of troops & military equipment on Russian territory near border with Kharkiv, Luhansk & Donetsk regions.

This at worst. I swear if I had a dime for every time Ive heard the news belch “Russia invading Ukraine proper” for the last 4 days…

Man I fear sometimes knowing that the government probably gets it’s info the same way the rest of us do…

Statements that the ultimatum is false doesn’t mean that everything is sunshine and daises. It could be a local commander exceeding his authority, it could be a set-up for a Ukrianian false flag, it could be that the ultimatum is real, or nothing at all could happen at the “deadline”.

Hence why they are policing Crimea, that way no one starts any trouble between Ukraine and Russia
 
Latest from Ukraine from the Ministry of the Interior is that it has come to their knowledge that tonight the Russians are planning a lethal provocation whereby three to four Russian soldiers will be killed by agents dressed in Ukrainian army uniforms:

The deputy interior minister has asked that this not happen, though this is being planned to justify Russian armed invasion, according to the Ukrainian government.

I hope the Ukrainian Ministry,making this public, prevents any such action from occurring.

It is worth remembering that Russia does have an agreement with Ukraine to have up to 25,000 personnel stationed in its bases in Crimea. If it wants to move troops around Crimea, it has to inform the Ukrainian authorities. The EU foreign ministers and others have called for Russian troops to return to their bases in Crimea. Something that I see, that the US and the world might be mad at Russia but at the end of the day, they still play catch with Russia. You can not talk the way the US and Germany and the EU talking about blocking Russia out from the major meetings, but at the end still get them involve. Doesn’t show much back bone.

Yep, and Putin isn’t talking to the Ukrainian authorities despite repeated phone attempts by Ukraine’s leaders to reach him. Nice. This really inflames the situation. I think Putin truly believes all the secret police xenophobia he imbibed while training in the KGB, that all stuff like this is the work of the CIA and Western intelligence. I don’t think he even truly understands why the Berlin Wall was torn down when he was stationed in communist East Germany in Dresden. He believed the East Germans were the good guys.

A few Russian warships of the Black Sea Fleet that were stationed off Syria sailed towards Ukraine today.
