Updated list of Churches that will/may start celebrating the Traditional Latin Mass after September 14

If the TLM is the extraordinary rite , then those who attend are extraordinary catholics (?) and those who attend the NO Mass are ordinary catholics. right? 😃

The Traditional Latin Mass will be held monthly at Sacred Heart Church in Laconia, New Hampshire. latinmassnetwork.net/2007/10/november-4-sacred-heart-church.html

The Traditional Latin Mass will apperently be held every Sunday at St.Eugene’s Church in Yonkers, NY. angelqueen.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=222216#222216

Those knee pads are a saver. I got a hot seat from Wal-Mart 🤷 and cut it in half. I give the other half to someone to use. Also, I wish we could keep the dialogue down. It’s a carry-over from the NO mass. I don’t want to nit pick, but the altar boy replies for the people. I noticed a couple praying out loud along with the Priest. I don’t think we want to develop a hybrid TLM. :eek: It’s OK to whisker:D

Hey! I was the one kneeling on your other half of hot seat!🙂 My boyfriend(Ignatious2000) handed to me after you handed it to him. It was our first Low Mass. So I know we might have messed up sometimes. We’ll be there next Sunday definitely. And thanks for the half of seat, saved my knees at least!(though still hard to get up…give me a few more years of mass maybe I’ll be able to be as good at it as all you cradle Catholics! haha)

The TLM had a dialogue form, and was commended by several Popes including Ven. Pius XII.

If it is brought back by the Pope so be it. But should it return willy nilly from the people? I’ve already experienced so much of that in the NO. But I must be patient also and I hardly mean to criticize but rather point out that we should be on the same page in outward participation. Inward there is tremendous leeway and “actual” participation.👍 By no means am I the one to call the shots. Just chat.

St. Odilo Church, St. Lambert Church in Skokie, and St. Daniel the Prophet Church on the southwest side of Chicago are all offering the TLM on occasion, and preparing for more weekly celebration. At St. Daniel Church, a TLM is celebrated on first Fridays at 10:30 p.m., in the adoration chapel. Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Naperville is rumored to be preparing for the TLM as well.

Holy Family Church in Fort Collins, Colorado will have the Traditional Latin Mass on the first Sunday of every month at 5 PM

From the current letter on pastors corner of the website for Holy Cross Catholic Church in Batavia, IL:
In addition, we will be beginning a Latin Mass, or Extraordinary Form Mass, starting this December. Pray for us priests who are learning how to offer this Mass that Pope Benedict recently encouraged; where the faithful have asked for it to be offered and the priest could reverently say it, this wish should be accommodated. The time of the Mass will be 12:45PM every Sunday starting the 1st Sunday of Advent. Therefore, baptisms will move to Saturday evenings following the 4:15PM Mass.

The dialogue mass is allowed, not commanded. The ideal is the solemn high mass anyway. On to more important issues.
 
The Traditional Carmelite Mass can be found every Sunday, but the fourth Sunday, at 2 pm. at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Clark, Wyoming.
 
Fargo, ND - The Cathedral of St. Mary had the first Latin Mass in Fargo, ND today 1/15/07 at 2:00. Each Sunday the Latin Mass will be at 2:00 and is being judged by attendance as to whether or not the Bishop will allow it to continue after January 1st, 2008
 
St. Peter Chanel in Hawaiian Gardens, Calif. TLM every Sunday 1pm in the old church. It is a low Mass. Hopefully for Christmas they will have the high Mass.
