URGENT PRAYER! For Geezer Bob

I know Jenn, Bob’s been a rock for all of us who know him through his posts. Let don’t let this rock crumble…not yet.
 
I put him on my church’s prayer chain, too…and have posted prayer requests for him, on the other boards I use.
I emailed Church Militant…

Geezer Bob’s name has been added to the stickies on my computer screen. Will pray for him continuously as I use my computer.

Dear Father, I do not know “Geezer Bob” but I know what it is like to lose a parent, a brother-a-law, and a friend. Please be with Bob’s family and give them the strength of the sure knowledge that You will, in Your goodness, care for Bob, and if it be Your will to return him to full health.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intersession was left unanswered. Inspired with this confidence, we fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, our Mother. To you we come, before you we stand, sinful & sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer them. Amen

Oh sacred heart of Jesus, beat your beats of love for GeezerBob. May your heart and his heart combine during this trying time. Just like in the poem “Footprints” when you carried the troubled person please carry GeezerBob in your ❤️ heart.
I will remember GeezerBob in mass tomorrow.

My grandfather and uncle both had the same thing. My grandfather suffered a very minor stroke due to the stress pushing a blood clot to his brain, but my uncle came out a bit better.

I’m (hopefully!) starting RCIA classes in 20 minutes. If the church has church candles, I’ll light one for him.
