P
Amen!Lord, from whose pierced side water and blood flow as a sign of Your unending mercy and love, please keep Bernadette and Lesa in Your loving grace.
Watch over them always, most especially in this time of need, and send out Your angels to guide, protect, and comfort them. We implore You, Lord, to please hear our prayers. Let not tears flow from their eyes, Lord. Send the Spirit to remind them of your love, and to keep them confident in You.
Holy Mary, mother of God, whose obedience made way for the salvation of man, we ask that you pray for Lesa and Bernadette. Intercede so that they might be brought ever closer to comfort in your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
May the blessings of God be upon you and your daughter, Bernadette.
Amen.
I’ve got a prayer for you, I think you might like it:
Behold me, my beloved Jesus, weighed down under the burden of my trials and sufferings, I cast myself at Your feet, that You may renew my strength and my courage, while I rest here in Your Presence.
Permit me to lay down my cross in Your Sacred Heart, for only Your infinite goodness can sustain me; only Your love can help me bear my cross; only Your powerful hand can lighten its weight.
O Divine King, Jesus, whose heart is so compassionate to the afflicted, I wish to live in You; suffer and die in You. During my life be to me my model and my support; at the hour of my death, be my hope and my refuge. Amen.
Bernadette (a beautiful name)-Thank you all for your continuing prayers. I spoke to Lesa’s psycologist and she said Lesa also has a personality disorder and I think they really don’t know how to really help her.
I am trying to let the Lord take over, but it is hard not to worry that she might harm someone else or herself. I also worry that if she does destroy herself that she won’t make it to heaven. I know that our God must give mercy to people who are mentally ill and have no control over some things they do.
It has been wonderful to read your responses and know that others care. I go to a lovely church and can light candles there. It is a very reverent place and very peaceful. I have been praying to St. Dymphna since you all made me aware of her.
Again please keep Lesa in your prayers as this problem is not solved by a pill or surgery.
Thanks again for all your kindness.
Yours in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary
Bernadette
