I didn’t say things weren’t or haven’t been going smooth, just some things get put on hold, new projects, ministries, etc. Msgr Hebert himself is ready for his time as administrator to come to end. He is a good man, but he is not the Bishop.
Father Taylor is a priest at the Okarche church in OK (here’s a link holytrinityok.org/index.htm), which is not my parish but is close to me. My priest announced that Father Taylor has been chosen to become the bishop of Little Rock, and that the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City will have a hard time replacing him because he has been involved in so many things and has done so much it will take more than one priest to replace him!

My diocese was without one for two years. The Vicar General, a Msgr., was the Administrator during this time. He did a great job.
It is good to hear that he is recognized for the man of God whom he is. He would be a reason I might vote for cloning

Bishop Vasa is another we would love to have. For now we (Lansing Diocese which is next to Detroit Diocese) await our new bishop’s installation this month. Please pray that Bishop Boyea is given the strength and patience to lead us without compromise.

Let’s see now. Saginaw has a good bishop who speaks the truth and upsets frommi. Lansing is getting a new bishop whom many say will do the same.
And there are some wonderful rumors circulating about B16 appointing a new shephers to replace the retired Maida in Detroit.

Hoping and praying they are just that - rumors. We need him here.I too have heard the rumors about Bishop Vigneron perhaps returning to Detroit. But I would hope he would be given more of a chance where he currently is. His particular background seems to make him a good person to deal with the situation there more completely first.
He does, on the other hand, have the background one might expect for the next Archbishop of Detroit.
As with all future appointments, we’ll know when the Holy Father decides and lets us know.
