Catholics must stop voting for -
immoral Politicans who support and/or vote in favor of abortion, gay marriage, euthanasia, contraception including everyone financing them, etc.
These evil politicans appoint evil judges and evil department administrators.

Bishops must strongly promote the reading of the “Catechism of the Catholic Church, Second Edition” for all Catholics over age 15.
This will promote a well formed conscience in all matters.

We all have an obligation to promote reading of the CCC.

When governments or insurance companies are forced to pay for contraceptives, that means through our taxes or insurance premiums we are all forced to pay for them, not just the users.
Immoral sexual activity (whether legal or not) should be at the complete expense of the individual.

The USCCB is correct that forcing everyone to pay for immoral activity is WRONG.
Amen to this.

No the griping is about those working in the heath care field who own their own practice/business, by law have to either go against their religion, find a new career, or cooperate with Evil. And that my friend is in direct conflict with the principles the US is built on. And that is exactly the grip.

Enough is enough of the nonsense.

Peace
Sadly, there’s plenty to gripe about with Obamacare.

Amen,

And while were at it teach them the wording for the Declaration of Independence is based on the teachings of a Doctor of the Church, copied by the US forefathers, then enforce the US Constitution and “maybe” we can walk with the youth, and teach LIFE.

The preconceived notion of instant gratification is the lie bought into daily by the unthinking mass.

Had anything been more important than the SOUL, I’m positive Christ wouldn’t have died on a Cross.

What did JP-II say? We have become a society of Death? Because life is perceived as an inconvenience. Unreal.

And what is worse, I heard on the public radio yesterday about a conversation between two robots. it was an intelligent conversation nevertheless. It made me think. how in the world the pagans says that the world have too many people and try to cut down to almost no people, then turn around and begin to make robots to populate the world. follow pagans and we end up in total confusion.

It may prohibit coverage of birth control for people working for the archdioceses, but not for people insured outside of diocesan employment.

Here in MA, the three big insurance companies which the dioceses use, pay for birth control for those not working for the dioceses.

Jim
Yes and the cost to provide birth control for anyone is factored into the rate structure for everyone so that all are actually paying the costs for birth control (or abortion) regardless of religious beliefs.

Teach the people the laws of God and we don’t have to go through such horror.
Not true, actually. A lot of people know the laws of God and reject them. It is not simply a matter of teaching the laws of God, but of Christians actually living those laws and thus becoming “the salt of the Earth” and a “city on a hill.” But even if Christians did live out their faith, there would still be those who reject it and society would still have to deal with the the horror you mention.

But this new twist on Obamacare is going to make it illegal for the archdiocese to exclude payment for a procedure it defines as immoral. That’s what the griping is about.

Kris
No, Obama care is going to make it illegal for Health Insurance companies to not cover birth control.

The Bishops along with ever other Catholic will be purchasing health insurance from those companies.

In fact a few months ago the USCCB made a statement telling Catholics that it was not a sin for them to purchase health insurance from companies which provide birth control and even abortions, if other companies don’t exist.

I live in Massachusetts and Romney Care which we have, is what Obama Care was based on.

In both cases, it’s going to break, but that’s another subject.

Correct and that would be a gripe health care providers should make.

However, like here in MA, health care providers do not have to provide birth control nor assist in abortions, even though health insurance companies pay for them.

I believe Obama care left this wording out of the bill because states already have or can put conscience exclusion laws desperate from the health care bill.
