I am so pumped up from Mitt’s debate performance I can’t bring myself to hit the sack. Mitt exceeded my expectations by miles.
That’s how I feel. I was praying to the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Mother on and off during the debate, but am wound up and happy with how it went.
As someone said right after the debate, this one of the few times we’ve seen Obama without the cushion of his handlers and the mass media…and it showed!

I liked Romney’s ideas to support the Constitution and let the states handle many issues, like taking care of the poor.

I liked Romney’s idea about federal money for education should be vouchers for the parents to choose the school they believe best.

I liked Romney’s idea about putting a limit on tax deductions. Seems to me a step towards a flat tax.

I liked how Romney pulled both party’s together while Obama made at least 2 very partisan swipes against Republicans. Something about how Romney hasn’t denounced some Republicans, and then another about how the democrats in MA could teach the Republicans how vote for Obamacare.

I was watching MSNBC, They conceited Obama lost and they were attacking him cause they thought he was too weak.

Chris Matthews looked like he’s been drinking and was on the verge of crying, Larry O’Donnell and Rachel Maddow seemed like they were at calling hours and Ed Schultz acted like his favorite team lost.
at least they conceded that Obama lost. i will have to watch some of MSNBC later after my grandson goes to bed. we are watching cartoons now. i had the tv for the debates, but had to surrender it when they got home. 🙂

I crossed myself numerous times. Wait until tomorrow morning’s Rosary. I have a lot to be thankful for.

MSNBC is on melt down mode…funny and sad. They don’t even try to act like journalist, only democrat hacks.
I am a long-time, up-close observer of “mainstream media” (dh is a local TV journalist) and the partisanship of the various national “news” outlets is, to me, obvious, astonishing, and disturbing. NBC/MSNBC is so clearly very liberal, and FOX unabashedly conservative; CNN seems to me to be trying to appear less partisan, perhaps because viewers are on to them all.

It seems that none of them is even trying to make it sound like Obama won; it shows just how terrible a night it was for Obama.

Just saw the CNN poll of registered voters who watched the debate: 67% for Romney, 25% Obama. Overwhelming.

Priorities, my friend. Cartoons are often more enlightening than regular programming. I still watch “Top Cat” whenever I can.

I suspect I was more nervous than Romney. He did greatcAppears the Obama campaign is mad at Lehr.

Just my opinion here……This debate might be the spark that puts a final end to Obamacare. Unfortunately, the hidden reason behind Obamacare …legalized euthanasia…will find a new way to exist. With an increasing number of elderly people needing more health care…the entire healthcare industry in this country and elsewhere around the world is poised to collapse.
I’m not a proponent of Obamacare or euthanizing or abortions or birth control…I’m just saying that people are people and that when push comes to shove…the dollar will matter more than a life to most.
While so many Catholics are rightly concerned about HHS….euthanasia…not even religious freedom…euthanasia is really this hidden specter in the room.

at least i got to see all of the debate.

Mighta been the prayers of the faithful :)👍
Even I, as a Canadian have been praying for God’s Holy Will to be done during the U.S elections. I kinda told Him that I was hoping Romney would get the edge but that if He had a better plan, He knows best.
The Blessed Mother is also helping out 😉
Will keep praying on this side of the border…
