Nope that’s not what I’m saying at all. I believe there is a truth. And there are many beliefs seeking it. And I’m glad to see you agree no one can really know.Wait, Matt. Are you saying that there is no ‘absolute’ truth or belief? That any given Catholic’s knowledge of the faith is 'only’ their (that is, individual) ‘belief’, and that one person’s belief, whether it differs so materially from another’s that it is in fact an OPPOSITE belief, is 'just as good?"
That sounds a bit like indifferentism. . .that since nobody can really know ‘what is truth’, that what ‘works for you’ is as good as what ‘works for me’ even if they’re two completely opposite things. That doesn’t sound like Catholic teaching at all.
