Merkel has not told the Vatican how to organize itself, she has not attacked the Church, she has not launched a Kulturkampf, she has not attempted to interfere in the workings of the Church, she’s not attempted to interfere with the beliefs of the Church, she asked for clarification. Seems that the Vatican agrees with her rather than you, we seem to have been snowed-under with clarifications on Williamson (even from the “nothing to do with us, guv” SSPX) and holocaust denial.

Do you believe that the State has the right to interfere in the internal workings of private organisations? And do you believe that the State has the right to tell the Jewish community how it should be organized?

I’ve said quite clearly, a number of times, what my position is. If you don’t like that, go play with your hankie icon.
