The Church’s attitude is not a “backwards” attitude but rather they are following the rules that Jesus Christ, the founder of Our Church, has established. We are bound to do God’s will.

Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior, is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He and His rules do not change, neither will the Church officials change them.

This is the truth indeed, however, there will continue to be those who believe otherwise.

I can’t help wondering. I mean the timing here. I wonder if this guy knew he was on the way out already. And just thought to upstage the performance.

Peace.

It is hard to believe the evil that is going on.

Not too long ago, the news was about the horrific unfettered abortions and discovered selling of aborted baby parts by publicly funded Planned Parenthood.

Now, just before the synod, Msgr Chamrasa (a CSF official, no less!) declares with his boyfriend by his side of being actively homosexual, the message clear that he had been undermining Catholic teaching and betraying the Church, the Bride of Christ.

And Catholics are being admonished not to talk about, should not be that “obsessed” with, abortion and gay “marriage” issues. As if there is little or no reason to be alarmed. Somehow, global warning and the death penalty issues are not what worries me greatly.

The other news that should grab our attention is the murderous culling of Christians by ISIS in ancient Christian lands, the latest in eastern Syria and northern and western Iraq, in Qaraqosh, that has led to an exodus of the remaining Christians who are still alive.

Lord, have mercy!

It’s hard to say he was “fired” like the anti-Catholic media asserts in accord with its own dogmas. He basically “fired” himself. If you want to go live a gay lifestyle, go live it and pretend to be proud, but don’t pretend it is Catholic.

Falling in love with another man is not the same as murdering a child and equating the two is not in line with Catholic teaching.

Now, lets see how many secular people in the US feel about the Catholic faith! Will be interesting to see how the US media deals with this.

For some who follow other religions or beliefs other than Catholic, it is not a sin

.
Then shouldn’t he should go to those religions since he rejects Christ’s Catholic teaching, instead of masquerading as Catholic.

The media’s take is Church=bad. Defiant gay man=good. Church should change its dogmas to match media’s. It’s not complicated.

We are all sinners and we shouldn’t forget this. I also don’t think he needs to necessarily run away from the Church and join some other. What he needs to do first though is figure out what he wants to do with his life. Right now the issue here is that he violated his promise to God of celibacy he made at his ordination.

Why was the media and most of these people so happy about the Pope visit then?

Exactly. Mainstream denominations that have caved to the secular Pervertarian Empire are losing members faster than if the buildings were on fire. It’s no mystery why. Why should anyone waste a Sunday morning listening to a Politically Correct sermon when you can get one for free by turning on the TV?

From an article on Yahoo news.yahoo.com/vatican-sacks-priest-comes-gay-121640066.html

"The Vatican said the dismissal had nothing to do with Charasma’s reflections on his personal life, which it said “merit respect”.

“But it said his interviews and the planned demonstration was “grave and irresponsible” given their timing on the eve of a synod of bishops who will discuss family issues, including the Church’s position on gays.”

I have been 100% supportive of what has been going on with Pope Francis in the chair of Peter.

However, the comment from the Vatican implies that Charasma’s lifestyle wasn’t the problem, it was the fact that he planned to participate in a public spectacle intended to boost support for views that oppose the Church on the eve of the synod,

What’s up with that?

He absolutely ought to have been sacked for stepping out of line so publicly, but shouldn’t his choice of lifestyle have been enough to sack him a long time prior to this?

That’s what I think, too. “Having a partner” indicates he has sexual relations, and a priest makes a promise to his bishop and his bishop’s successors to remain chaste.

My heart goes out to him despite. His life is no doubt painful. I will pray for him.
A very charitable post, and AMEN.

Mary.

Let’s try this headline:

Lesbians for Choice Official Outs Self as Straight, Pro-Life
Says organization must abandon embryophobic, anti-family policies

I think such an individual would be SACKED!!! and justifiably so.
