Another “scare” article. I am not surprised it is from Slate Magazine.
I have often wondered why Slate Magazine is not prosecuted for breaking the child labor laws, because their articles are obviously not written by adults.

Because if you look at their polling methods you can see they are cooking the books. Trump will win the 2020 election because the economy will be great.

But if Trump loses I am sending the next day to all my renters their next lease will see an increase of 20% to 30% increase in rent.
It’s not rocket science. The populace reaping the benefits of a booming economy stady employments to name a few .Polls can be tweaked to achieve the results the pollsters desire.
Okay, just your opinion. Thanks.

No it is not my opinion. When I see a poll that shows Trumps approval rating so low or that any dem running in the election will beat trump by 14 to 20 points I go look to see how that poll was done. When you look at the raw data and methods use to collect the data you can see it is designed to lower Trumps numbers. It isnt accurate.

The clintons have never shown any class or grace ever. She is still out there believing she really won and should have been President.

Well, this early on I don’t see how anyone can predict the outcome. I don’t want Trump to be reelected, but just saying that doesn’t make it so.

The real question is whether voters overal are more interested in Trump’s character, the economy, healthcare, or something else.

The problem is Dems have a weak record on the economy and no sane person trusts them with reforming healthcare. They cocked it up last go and their new plans are money pits.

Exactly. No one in their right mind would risk undoing the momentum of a Trump economy. That was includes even the most die hard Dem/ leftist

There is zero reason to believe it won’t happen that way the next time.
Zero? Let’s pretend we didn’t hear that he will accept the results only if he wins. He’s always got the courts and AG Barr.

i thought the budget surpluses under Clinton were pretty good.

I’m not in favor of the Democrats health care proposals, but unless they sweep the House and Senate, too, I’m not worried.

Trump inherited a strong economy and is doing everything he can to slow it down - tariffs, trade wars, bonkers statements that cause the Dow to roller coaster.

I will vote for any stable adult - which leaves him out.

Yes but politically speaking, that’s ancient history. Clinton era policies bear no resemblance to the present day DNC platform. Bill also benefited greatly from the computer/dot.com boom.

More recently, the Obama era regulations and policies probably shaved a good half percentage off his post recession GDP growth.

Don’t be. I’m retired and for all I know I may not live to see the next President but I am looking forward to experiencing the new 5G technology if nothing else.

I hope you have many happy years ahead of you.

5G? I think the technologies that eventually come from the high bandwidth will be quite interesting. I hope they are used for good.
