Yes in spite of budget cuts we have assurance that there will not be an uprising in Barbados! Apparently Valerie Jarrett also has a full security with her when she vacations in Martha’s Vineyard.

You’re right, it’s not about expense, it’s about priorities and narrative. They were trying to push the narrative that Libya was an Obama success story rather than a young country with a lot of loose weapons and Islamist groups. That plan proved fatal for four Americans.

Lots of interesting questions as well as who won. Hard to cut and paste but note below; the first score is Biden, the next Ryan, third Neither/Both

Note 70% believed Biden did more attacking than Ryan. Talk about reiterating the obvious but it’s interesting to see how lopsided the survey came out with basically an equal split between Dems, Republicans and Independents.

Likeability was also interesting. Joe was less likeable, did a poorer job of defending the Presidential candidate as well.

I am sure there was a plan but not sure it succeeded. The Dem talkers are all saying the point was to a) gin up the base and b) be so OUT THERE that even if Obama is more aggressive it will look calmer in comparison

Too bad they didn’t have a Lie-O-Meter or Joe would have had a clear victory.

Yikes Diane Sawyer about wet her pants over Raddatz…that’s some real impartial journalism.

Lots of comments to the point that while Lehrer was panned by the Left for not taking control of the debate, Raddatz was applauded for letting Biden run wild AND for interruptimng RYAN herself!

I suspect the next two debates will be very slanted to propping up Obama as best they can.

Hope Rob Portman is preping Romney with the most biased questions possible as the questions will be asked by undecided voters chosen by the Gallup organisation which was sent emails by David Axelrod because they had Romney up in a poll. Apparantly Obama will go after Romney about Bain Capital? I do not understand that attack

Not only was Gallup sent emails by David “The Axe” but apparently they were being sued with regard to their methods. I guess if your poll puts a Republican up, it must be suspect. But having a statistic that said 875000 jobs were created should be accepted at face value even if it doesn’t comport with other statistic saying only 114000 jobs were created, that the growth rate would have to be 4% instead of 1% and that suddenly in this stagnant economy we produced more jobs in one month since the Reagan Recovery decades ago. But hey move along, nothing to see here…

BTW I heard Rob Portman is a FANTASTIC debate coach. Dick Cheney said the debate was a piece of cake in comparison to the way Portman taunted, lied, interrupted and basically did everything he could to throw the candidate off base. I think Romney will be well prepared. And he knows it’s “two against one” since the moderator will be pulliing for Obama.

How many interruptions should a debate participant be allowed before the moderator issues a warning?

Definitely and usually right when he was starting to make his point. Amazingly enough she couldn’t find a time or a reason to interrupt Joe Blow-hard. After the debate Paul Ryan was complimentary of Ms Radditz’ commitment to her craft and noted how many times she’d been to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a class act from start to finish. What a contrast.

When Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have been asked about media bias, they never use it as an excuse, simply say “this is what we expect and we are ready.” They show a lot more class than the Left who, after the Obama egg laying spectacle (and we thought Big Bird was a guy), blamed Jim Lehrer as if he were supposed to rescue the good ship Obama as it sailed the stormy waves of the truth.

Neither will do this country good, and FDR was horrible. FDR hated Fr. Coughlin and Huey Long. We need another Fr. Coughlin and Huey Long.

I agree that she did but my question remains; how many interruptions before a warning?

I would answer on the first interruption a warning should be issued.
