exactly, that’s why he was sinful…
Well if you want to call a mistake a sin fine, but according to Islams definition of sins he didn’t sin, and I don’t care what you say, until you list one Islamic rule that he broke he isn’t sinful according to islams definition of sins.

Jesus was not merely mortal…he was also Divine–thus, sinless. Mohammed was human, not Divine. Aaaahhh…thus the great debate! 😉

I said I wouldn’t comment on this anymore. Darn.
Muhammad was human and not divine, so was Jesus and all other Prophets. None of them committed sins accroding to Islams teachings.

Hi Emad–

Are you saying that Mohammed, being a mere human being, is on the same level as God? (God being sinless) Jews do not think Abraham is sinless. He was their prophet…but not sinless.

Mohammed was not Divine, so does your faith place him on the same level as God/Allah?

If you say he was sinless…you are saying is God-like, no?

so, your view is that he is equal to God? You are saying this by saying a human being is sinless.

There is a difference between shortcomings, sins, and mistakes. Muhammad was human, thus no matter if he was a perfect human he is still nothing close to God. God is nothing like humans.

Muhammad made mistakes, but they weren’t sins. God doesn’t make any mistakes. Also there is much more to God then just Him being sinless. Also no matter what God can’t be sinless, He is God.

True, that there is much more to God, of course**, than being sinless. But if you believe Mohammed to be sinless, you are acting as though he is God-like? God is sinless because He is God, but Mohammed wouldn’t have any way of being sinless…unless you are equating his ability to be sinless, with being God-like. You say he made mistakes–but did not sin. If he did not sin, then Islam believes Mohammed to be God-like. I’m just trying to understand.**

She is not our prophet. We do not worship her, and **God created her that way. ** Please show me the proof in the Quran that Mohammed was sinless, and that God CREATED him that way. If you cannot find such proof, are you saying that Mohammed was just so amazingly good on his own, that he managed to not sin?

Hey I did not know that muslims worshipped Mohammed. Do they really? That’s odd.
👍

Ok I did some research and found out to my surprise that Muhammad did actually kill people.

Abu Afak, was a member of a nearby tribe, and an old man, he spoke out against Muhammad and encouraged his tribe to resist him. When his actions were brought to Muhammad's attention Muhammad's response was simple, he said, "Who will deal with this rascal for me?" Salim b. Umayr fulfilled Muhammad’s wishes by killing Abu `Afak.

Christian/judeao belief- Though shall not kill
Muslim Belief-Killing is ok as long as it protects Islam
The Catholic Church teaches me this is a sin and it is not right.
God taught this to be a sin when he gave us the Ten Commandments.

Well that doesn’t seem like a sinless person to me. Somebody has a different belief and you kill them. this sounds familiar. I dunno…

Correct me if I am wrong.

biography (sirat) of Muhammad’s life is the work of Ibn Ishaq (85-151 A.H.) who was born in Medina.

Muhammad did have sins, but at his own level. Not any major or minor sins according to Islam.

I feel like this thread is nothing more than fighting about literal words… I think you know what I meant…Christians don’t hold Mary out as a prophetic figure.

God bless,

No offense dude but Muhammed was a sinner. I am not saying he was a bad person or anything like that. We all sin.
