Note that he is 72. He was one of Pope Benedict’s first appointments. He replaced Archbishop Levada, who Pope Benedict appointed as his replacement as head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. One presumes he was appointed with Archbishop Levada’s recommendation.
I hear what you are saying, I realize he was one of Pope Benedict’s first appointments – but one has to wonder if the Vatican truly knows to what extent the ***spiritual battle ***for San Francisco is being waged.
Do they know that San Francisco has long been known to be the Headquarters for the
Church of Satan?
There are some very serious spiritual strongholds in that city, perhaps the Vatican should consider a battalion of exorcists first. I am not being flippant either, I am serious.
If this act of aggression by these misfits - upon a holy and sacred place, during a most Holy and Sacred moment, does not manifest abject evil among us –
what does?
The hierarchy of the Church can no longer remain uninvolved. The Vatican, and I hope the Holy Father, will get directly involved in this particular situation on a public and a spiritual level – to bring this kind of evil aggression against the Body of Christ to an Immediate Stop.
We have to know that Jesus, Our Lord, was extremely sadden over this sacriligious act. My sense is that Saint Francis is terribly grieved by the event also.
My hope is that Catholics who read about this grotesque event would somehow find the time to pray a Rosary novena for San Francisco. As Father Corapi would tell you, the Rosary is one of the strongest weapons against the evil one and his craftiness.
I like to recall Genesis 3:15: "I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel."
