Am I to take it from this paragraph that Biden/Pelosi are going to be allowed to receive Holy Communion even though they cause public scandal to the Catholic Church on a daily basis?

I sincerely hope not, especially given the Holy Father’s outspoken condemnation of such activity…I’m not sure what to think of this…:confused: 😦

My personal feel is that it’s a distraction. Focus should be on God. I wish they wouldn’t even show who receives and how they receive.

You are right. The real sin does not lie with Biden/Pelosi or the scandal and sacrilege they commit but rather with the evil camera men.:rolleyes:

Why does everybody have to read into everything?

He’d be in a hell of a position if old Joe walked up to him and stuck his hands out to receive the Holy Eucharist.

I’m just exhausted of everybody freaking out over Francis.

This is true. The devil likes to distract and spread confusion, anything to detract from the glory due God.

A part of me would like to see the Pope refuse communion to Biden and others, but another part of me wants to see the Mass go without controversy. The right time will come to lower the boom on “Catholic” leaders who espouse evils like abortion, but now may not be the right time. It Biden does receive, let’s hope there is no coverage of it one way or another, unless it is to make an example of the evil of abortion. There is a time and a place for everything, and the time for these leaders will come, sooner or later. The sin, of course, to receive unworthily is a judgment they bring on themselves.

27Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord. 28But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice. 29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 11
