We easily forget the exhortation of St. John Paul ll the Great who lived through the horrific, evil time of Hitler and the Holocaust. Who was shot by a Muslim hit man.

He acted within the law. That is apparent. He killed a terrorist monster on a par with Bin Laden. That terrorist was in Iraq orchestrating attacks on the American embassy.
But of course, it’s bad orange man, so it must have been wrong to kill him.

I agree. If Obama had assassinated a leading general, he would have been hailed by the Democrats as a hero. OTOH, whatever Trump does or does not do must be bad and evil, given he is Trump. Now, I don’t think any of us wants full-scale war with Iran; but Trump’s action may actually deter that possibility. Oh, there will be repercussions and conflict, for sure; however, Iran might think twice before tangling with the U.S. Time will tell…
