Thank you. I am trying to be understanding that they might have a reason for their silence/hurtful words…but really, I am not at that point yet. RIght now, I think they should have looked outside of their own little worlds to see that I needed them…more than that, my girls needed them. They failed as aunts.

I am trying…today, I just feel hurt all over again.
:hug1:

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Go to your pastor and receive the church’s post partum blessing for a mother whose child was stillborn or died shortly after birth. My mother’s first child died within a month of spina bifida, and my own wife had a miscarriage. It always hurts desperately.
Blessings on you and all your family.

Im so sorry I lost mine at 12 weeks. I dont know if I was carrying a boy or girl. I just know God needed an angel and that was why he took mine, It would be 4 this year. I will tell you what I do, I dont know if it will help or not but every year especially at Christmas I get real sad, Christmas being for kids and all, anyway every year I pick 2 angels from the tree this year it will be for 4 year olds, A boy and girl, if there arent 4 year olds we get the closest year, And we buy a gift for someone elses angel here on earth, ITs bittersweet. But it helps. God Bless I know your pain, but i promise it will get easier. Just think of it how I do, thats how special Angels get made.

I feel your pain, and especially finding this thread on mothers day. I have a first born son who was an agel here on earth as well as where he is right now. He was almost 19 when he passed away four years ago. With him in heaven are my two other babies of 24 weeks, and 8 weeks.

My oldest, Will, was terminal, but died of strep throat sooo many years latter. At 24 wks and i do not know what happened to her.My husband at the time threw me down a flight of stairs, and i believed things were ok when i cried myself to sleep. I woke 4 days latter with a disgusted husband who had thought i would surely die (or had hoped). I still do not know what happened to the baby…it was simply not there. He told the police i must have peed it out and flushed it. The police believed him, but to my shock, no one would believe me that at 24 weeks, it would not flush.

My second miscarriage was within a new relationship, as the other one was well past over. BTW, he never went to his sons funeral and lived 15 minutes from us. Back to what i believe was a boy at 8 weeks passing. I was working with heavy lifting and did not realize i had even been pregnant untill i passed out. Found out one day i was pregnant, and the next i miscarried.

I have two other little ones still with me. One was 10 yesterday, and one will be 9 in August. They sustain me, with Gods help. 3 in heaven, two with me still. I know that from conception, they are Alive, whole, have a soul, and even if your sisters do not believe what you do, they should have held you in your grief. May they find this place some day…but this kind of hurt does not heal quickly.

Do not let this lac of forgiveness pull you from HIS embrace. It is simply not worth your love with HIM.

It matters only what God thinks, and your own self and husband.
I will be praying for you.

Lana, I am so sorry for the things you went thru! I can’t imagine your pain… I’m just glad you’re not with the father of your 24 wk and your 19 yr old angels. You are in my prayers!

Thank you…My Will knows where my baby is now, because i am sure he is holding her. The clue i had that it was a girl, and that the father rid of her was his anger towards me afterwards saying, “it’s your fault i will never have a little girl! and i’ll never forgive you for that!”

Hmmm…then i went to the doctors, and there was zero evidence of a pregnancy. Scared to tell my family i was pregnant, and trying to find a way out, i never went to the doctors yet, so there was no record of the baby.

No one believed me. My weeks were a guess from the date i missed my cycle. In the afternoon sun i would watch the baby roll over in my belly and prommise her anything but this life. I had no idea what was going to happen. The hardest part was that he got away with this, and so much more.

But the baby is safe with big brother now…

Lana

OMGosh hon! I am so sorry to hear all that  😦 He will have to answer for what he has done. Meanwhile, Will has a very important job to do, and I am sure he is doing it well 🙂

I just wanted you to know that I appreciate you sharing your story with me.

I am devastated all over again tonight, and I don’t know why. I am glad I checked up on this thread.

Oh my Lana! how terrible! I can’t believe he got away with such cruelty and abuse… I’m sorry you had to go thru that and I’m sorry you never got to see your baby girl.

Sorry to hear you’re doing bad today Heather. :hug1: I have been having a hard time too since last week, especially last night 😦 I guess it’s all the sharing stuff with so many women who have gone thru a m/c recently that opened up my wounds (and the fact that I found out I have endometriosis and know that it causes infertility)…

Please Heather, if you need to talk, PM me or post on the Little Saints thread, or here and share with us what you are going trhu so we can give you the support you need.

Still praying for you hon. :hug1:

The one thing i do know about endometriosis is that it sucks all of the life and energy out of you from lack of bllod, blood clotting, and so on. The only cure for it is removal of the uterus, or pregnancy. Durring pregnancy the endometriosis does not progress. At least this was what my best friend was told. She quickly had two children, and her doctor said enough, she might get to weak to carry another, and then she went in for a histerectmy.

I do not know the specifics with infertillity or how it effects this desease, but i do know that the fatigue is incredible. Remember to try and get iron where ever you can for energy. And or B12.

God bless you in this trial!

Our babies are here…

This is my Will with his two sisters before he passed away. Note, they never sat with their father, they sat and congrigated around him. He was joy to them, and contentment. I believe he is doing the same with both of his other siblings in heaven right now!

Here we are together…the ONLY picture i have with my son! It was taken about 6 months before he passed away.

Angels are an asset to everyones heart!

Thinking of you today Heather, hopeing today is just a little bit better than the last for you. We never “get over” loss, we seemingly just learn to cope better!

Heather,
I am new to this website and I saw this thread. I am truly sorry. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and it was one of the most difficult things I have ever experienced. I will never ever forget that feeling of loss that I had. I was so devastated I went and spoke to my parish priest. He was awesome. He offered to do a burial for our baby in the church cemetery. My husband made a wooden cross and burned our babys name in it. My parents came and I think that really helped to deal with the loss. I have a special box with all of our baby’s ultrasound pics and cards in it. My children still talk about Aidan to this day and we often visit his/her burial site in the cemetery. You know we are all a communion of saints and our little babies are just waiting for us in heaven. I just think that they were too special and God wanted them home with him.
I will keep you in my prayers.
Laura

Laura, I am so sorry that you lost your Baby Aidan. I just wanted to warn you that sometimes ultrasound pics can fade over time. Get them scanned into your computer, make backups, and get them printed on high quality photo paper. I have also heard that sometimes the little footprint papers the hospitals give parents at the birth can fade. Parents need to make backups of all of these, especially if their little one has gone on to Heaven!

Dear Heather,

My heart is with you and your DH at this time. It will take a lot of time and a lot of prayer to accept what has happened.

I lost twin boys at 22 weeks almost 2 years ago. It was my first pregnancy, and DH and I were estatic. One of the boys was a stillbirth, but the other was a live birth. Since he was only 22 wks, he was not considered viable and the hospital did not treat him. He died in my arms.

We did not have a funeral mass said for the boys, but we did have a burial. Similarly, 2 of my 3 brothers did not come to the service and it hurts me to this day. I often wonder if they would have come if the boys were 5 YEARS old when they died instead of 5 MINUTES old. This has hurt me more than anyone can imagine. It is OK for you to hurt, too. I am still praying for the grace to forgive my brothers.

Your precious baby was REAL, regardless if he never drew breath outside the womb. He has a soul, and he is now in heaven with Jesus. What a perfect place to grow up in!

Your family is in my prayers.

Laura S.

Thank you everyone. It’s been a very difficult time lately. I have found joy in my other children and my students, but lately, the grief is creeping back. Yesterday marked his two year ‘birth’ day, and I am the only one who noticed. 😦
