im in the same boat. boy when you quit exercising you can hardly walk to the mailbox and back. but ive been in this boat before one thing i learned. if you do 15 minutes and thats all you can do stop at that. now do that for a week. now slowly add five minutes in a week or so. then do that for a few days then add again. you didnt get out of shape in a week your not going to get in right away. im 46 and i learned that if i went back to what i used to do at 21 i wont walk for a week. then you get so sore you have to quit. so one day at a time and dont kill yourself. whats the hurry and remember the longer it takes to take it off the longer you will keep it off. just keep up with the small stuff now. if not you wont stick with it. and really i was told 20 minutes a day is enough for anyone. if you do that and change your diet you will be fine. heres another thing to think about. a piece of chocolate cake is lets say 500 or more calories or so im not sure. now would you rather eat it and walk for 45 minutes or forget the cake. as much as i love cake i would rather not eat it and not do the extra exercise. thats really the key. now there are days i would rather have the cake and i will do time. i learn ed to be thin is a trade off you want the junk you do the time. the time is exercise. i hate exercise. so ill do it 20 minutes a day and eat healthy then to eat the extra. hope it helps it did me. it gives eating chips and the extra junk a whole other meaning. its not forbidden because if it is we will eat it more. NOW HERES MY PROBLEM ALCOHOL. now i know you shouldnt drink but i enjoy a nip every now and then. especially with the Holidays comming up. now we know it will slow down our weight loss and its empty calories but what is the best drink to have out with the fewest calories .
