Some know I have been struggleing with Masturbation. I have failed earlier in the day. I am going to say act of perfect contrition and then go to confession. Just need prayers. I feel so weak. 😦

Prayers are on the way.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Just think how long you made it before you failed, just start again a lot of people who have an addiction fail, but go on stronger, have faith you will overcome this praying for you:gopray2:

How about saying the Act of Contrition before your feet hit the floor each day? The Lord’s prayer, followed by the Act of Contrition sets the mood for the rest of the day, and certainly brings graces.

Try viewing your sin as you do any addiction, such as to drugs or alcohol: they are a lie. They promise something, deliver even less, and leave you worse off than before you gave in. They are a lie because they come from the evil one - a liar and the father of lies.

Lord, You have sustained Mini gerbel in life thus far, with a love that surpasses all human understanding. Grant pardon to the contrite heart and strength to avoid evil this day, and each day. I ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever an ever, Amen.

May Jesus touch your heart to be more aware of His presence
so you ask Him for strength to overcome what He wants you to.

Prayers are on the way for everyone.

You have shame only before God. It matters to Him not one bit if your sins are known to the world, as He is the only One Who judges. For, there is nothing hidden that will not be brought to light. For those struggling, and despairing over failures, St. Francis de Sales offers this strengthening counsel:
"For, whether we desire it or not, we shall be tempted. If we do not struggle, we shall not be victorious, nor shall we merit the crown of immortal glory which God has prepared for those of us who are victorious and triumphant.
Let us fear neither the temptation, nor the tempter, for if we make use of the shield of faith and the armor of truth, they will have no power whatsoever over us."
Saint Francis de Sales, Oeuvres
Lord, as Your Saint in Heaven advises, may we not avoid, but embrace the struggles of this life, accepting them as the blessings that they are, and the graces they bring once mastered through faith and trust. In Your Divine Mercy, you permit us to be tested, as gold in fire, so that through testing, we may be made pure and acceptable in Your Holy and Eternal Kingdom. Strengthen us, O Loving God, for that which, in Your mercy, lies ahead. Let us steel our nerves for the battle and strive ever toward the next life, in which we will be ever joyous in perpetual adoration of You, the Most High God. Grant this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever an ever. Amen, Alleluia!

I went to confession. got confessed. and I feel well. but i need prayers on this addiction I have. and thank you all alot for the prayers

🙂

Praying for you to St Michael. Pray to this Archangel. We have a lot of saintly friends in heaven waiting for us to just ask. Pray hard for this addition.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world for ruin of souls. Amen.

thank you for all prayers

I used to struggle with this sin… I think god removed the obsession in me. I am very grateful for that. What also helped was not watching tv anymore… except ewtn.

I will pray for all of you with this addiction.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Happy to read you went along to Confession. Perhaps it is not the fall nor the type of fall, but how quickly we pick ourselves up with an act of sorrow and resolve to go to Confession as soon as we can…and then go on as if nothing happened confident and trustful of God’s Mercy…Probably our greatest victories over sin have been a journey of failing and rising. May The Lord grant you perseverance and courage…
May The Lord richly bless your efforts at this difficult time in your life…keeping you in daily prayer…
Deo Gratius!

i messed up again. i said Act of perfect contrition 😦 and going to confession maybe this afternoon
