attention if border agents.
And as I have said, if a border agent sees or motion detectors notice people approaching our wall from BOTH sides don’t you think the agent is going to notice and take action? Again the idea your not getting is that we want to make the job of raiding our border difficult. Let’s put razor wire on top of the wall. That is a big deterrent. If they try to scale a 30 ft wall with razor wire from both sides I guarantee they will be delayed more than it takes now at a rate of 75000 a month.
learn the difference between asylum seekers and “illegal invaders.” This isn’t Red Dawn, here. It’s unarmed people exercising a legal right.
Right, and if they are exercising a legal right all they have to do is enter a legal point of entry and get assylum. Right?
very subjective, usually subject to the whims of a given administration. But they do have a right to seek it.
LOL but if they have a legal right to get it they will! Unless of coarse you mean YOUR definition of legal. That is just anarchy.
Bishops in Rome have every right to tell Catholics how to treat others. Such conduct will have some impact on foreign and domestic policy.
They can say it, but they have a responsibility to be thoughtfull and not shoot from the hip with what ever cliche that cones to mind. The fact is the US is already saturated with illegal Invaders, and more are coming at a rate of 75000 plus a month. Why doesn’t the Vatican take some off our hands? President Trump offered to send some to sanctuary cities, but they balked. Hmm. …kind of hypocritical don’t you think?

Note that we on the side of law and order have supported a wall, military presance, more border agents, etc, but those on the other side offer no methods or plan to secure our border. So in effect they don’t really want secure borders. They want globalist anarchy.

A wee bit of over categorizing there…
I want more border patrols
I want more agents to process the arrivals
I want more border entry points made
I want the laws to be reviewed and made as fair and equitable as possible
I want the processing to be straight forward and clear
I want those not qualified to be returned to their home country without malice
I want employers that hire illegals to be prosecuted
I want illegals that are cheating the system to be prosecuted and expelled
I want any immigrant or assylee that was refused another opportunity after ~5 years to be re evaluated
I want any criminal that violated US law to be fairly tried and punished if found guilty
I want increased technology used at the border

I DO NOT WANT A WALL

Does this answer your questions? Have I left out any scenarios?
Thanks

We already have most of what you listed. Okay, you don’t want a wall. We have more than 75000 Invaders a month coming here. The status quo isn’t working. Homeland Security says we are in crisis mode. So what do we do to stop the invasion? I favor maning the border with many military. I do think a 30 ft wall topped with razor wire would work.

As you aren’t reading what I’m saying or are ignoring what I am saying, I’m done with discussing this with you. You want a wall…I don’t.

I listed many thing that I want to ADD to ensure security and you ignored every one of them because they aren’t a wall.

Good bye

I read what you wrote. These are things that we are already doing or they are things that have no effect on actual border SECURITY except for hiring more agents.

I’ve been there. You can’t even take a small Swiss Army knife into the Vatican. They had a large Roughneck trash can for people to toss them into.

“Build a 50-foot wall, and someone will bring a 51-foot ladder,” Janet Napolitano.
Yea, you might get one guy with a 50 ft ladder, but that’s better than 10,000 just walking through.

Locked doors don’t stop all robberies but alarm systems and locked doors do deter it and allow a quicker response, to catch the criminals.

To qualify for asylum the requirements for refugee must be met. The difference is where the application is made.

Asylum

“Asylum status is a form of protection available to people who:
  • Meet the definition of refugee
  • Are already in the United States
  • Are seeking admission at a port of entry
You may apply for asylum in the United States regardless of your country of origin or your current immigration status. For more information about asylum status, see the Asylum section.“

Many migrants cannot meet the criteria for asylum. They are often economic migrants. True asylum seekers are refugees. Illegal immigrants can apply for asylum in the US if they meet the requirements and have been in the US less than one year. They can attempt to on a case by case basis in special circumstances.

This is where many people start getting confused because the lines between “asylum seeker,” “refugee,” “migrant” and “illegal immigrant” are so blurred especially at the southern border. It’s nearly impossible for the average American to differentiate.

This is a good point. There are many people seeking loopholes and commit criminal acts in the process. There are quite a few people that will only claim asylum if they are caught.

Not everyone should be demonized for the actions of others though. Not everyone is breaking laws or looking for loopholes. It is hard to find a balanced view of a situation where lines become so blended.

Not everyone seeking asylum is a criminal. However, there are people that are seeking asylum that are not good people and unfortunately that makes many people have distorted views of everyone. This is one of many reasons why it would be beneficial to all people to reform the way we manage immigration. Something needs to be done soon.
