I wonder whether he was proud of that role?and James Arness played the role of “The Thing,” years before “Gunsmoke.”

Thanks! All definitions of B movie are acceptable according to my rules. LOL
I wonder if all his movies are B movies. Poor man. LOLBedazzled. With Brendan Frasier. Yes. Him. Hilarious, but a “B” movie.
Awesome!Point Break (1991) with Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. It’s been a while. I may have to watch it again to see how it has held up over time.![]()
Loved Haunting of Hill House! If you haven’t read the book by Shirley Jackson, you should! The Thing (From Another World) is certainly a classic. A great, suspenseful science-fiction film!
Every time The Lion in Winter is on television, I say I will not watch it again, but I always do. Peter O’Toole is magnificent, Katharine Hepburn was never better, and Anthony Hopkins is in top form. A remarkable A movie! The Cotton Club, I like the music.
Any movie with David Niven in it.
Escape from New York.
The Seventh Sign.
12 Monkeys
Any Apocalypse movie with Christopher Walken in it. [Prophecy]
The Stand. [Loved the book]
I am Legend
Resident Evil
Interstellar
The Lion in Winter [Not a B movie, but my favorite movie of all time]
Don’t tell anyone. There are a whole bunch of those entertaining B westerns, and also the Sherlock Holmes mysteries of the 1940’s. But surely you don’t remember the REAL Black Bart?!
Thanks for the tip!Loved Haunting of Hill House! If you haven’t read the book by Shirley Jackson, you should!
Andy Griffith as the villain? Say it ain’t so! Well, he did make his 1957 film debut in Elia Kazan’s A Face in the Crowd and played an unsympathetic character in that movie as well.Murder In Coweta County…a true story…with Andy Griffith cast as the villain.
Really good story. Johnny Cash plays the Sherriff who brings “john Wallace” to justice.
yup. He’s great as the evil guy.Andy Griffith as the villain? Say it ain’t so! Well, he did make his 1957 film debut in Elia Kazan’s A Face in the Crowd and played an unsympathetic character in that movie as well.
is the book scary? I have not read it.Loved Haunting of Hill House! If you haven’t read the book by Shirley Jackson, you should!
I thought the ex-presidents stole the show. The “I am not a crook” quote from the robber in the Nixon mask and Swayze as ex-president Reagan’s “Don’t forget to vote” were worth the price of admission.Awesome!Patrick Swayze as a thrill seeking bank robber, and Keanu Reeves as a surfing FBI agent. So stoopid it’s brilliant!

Pure, 100%, unadulterated camp, which gives it a charm all of its own.Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death sounds like the most interesting film on your list. LOL
Not all A movies are Oscar material either.I always think of a B movie as strictly entertainment - not Oscar material.
