I’m thankful for the availability of medicines to fight this stubborn cold.

Today I am thankful:
for waking up and being able to walk to the kitchen and flip the switch on the coffee pot…
for being able to pray my Rosary,
for going for a walk on a beautiful morning with my beloved pup, Chloe,
for the person at the Jewelry store who repaired the chain on my antique Rosary for FREE,
for being able to purchase some Lirope to plant tomorrow and having the Faith that I will be here to enjoy doing it,
for spending the day with my Husband and being able to make plans on what I shall fix us for supper,
for realizing how Blessed I AM! Amen!

All my family members are healthy, I have the money to cover my bills and a roof over my head. Thank you, Jesus!

Sat here whining in my head about doing an assignment for my course for work, with a deadline looming. Then it hit me that I should be grateful that I have been given the opportunity to learn, the time to study and the capacity to understand it. It’s all a gift from Him.
Made me realise how ungrateful I can be.

I’m thankful my vet could see me asap as my old dog has developed Vestibular Disease (or 99.9% sure it’s that).

For having the financial resources to be retired and to still be charitable.

For waking this morning, starting the coffee pot, drinking a wonderful cup of coffee, for driving around town buying groceries, coming home to my pet and husband, for preparing to cook supper and thoroughly enjoying doing it. For my health along with the pain I am currently feeling in my knees. For the road I am traveling in this life and wonder what is around the corner… 😬

I’m thankful this cold seems to be winding down and I can go to daily mass tomorrow.

I am 90 yeas of age and have been very happily married to a non catholic woman for over 63 years. I hope to outlive her since she does not get involved in our financing situation, nor in our internet connection with our family nor our cell phone. The dear Lord has assured me that I will outlive her to take care of these situations although I am 5 years older. Am I stupid to to accept our Lard assurance?

There are a lot of things to be grateful for, but sometimes we forget.

I am reading this book that has a scene where someone is being taught survival skills. And the “expert” said, there are really only 4 things we need to survive in the “wild”. Food, water, shelter and fire. Do you have all these handy? Then I guess you have a lot to be grateful for, don’t you think? Thank You Lord!

For feeling well enough to get up early and have coffee, and being able to attend mass this morning.
