What are you thankful to God for today?

I think your best bet is to teach her about these things – how to do them, information she’ll need to know – so that should she outlive you, she won’t be lost and at the mercy of people who might want to take advantage of her

It’s important for both spouses to understand family finances and how to use the internet and how to contact other family members in an emergency, as well as knowing about 911. She should know the name of your family attorney and how to contact him or her, should legal questions arise after your death.

Does she simply not wish to become involved. . . ?

For my father-in-law being release from the hospital today, and for the great care he received.
 
I’m thankful for the food we eat, the fresh, clean water we drink, and the fuel to cook with.
 
I’m thankful our priest got through his spinal surgery with no complications.
 
I’m thankful we got to spend the afternoon with our grandchildren today. I’m thankful they are happy and healthy toddlers!
 
I’m thankful for music. It has gotten me through some really tough times.
 
I am thankful that I can enjoy a nice holiday before I start back at school.

I am thankful for my Archbishop.

I am thankful for:
noticing the beautiful moon casting its glow thru my window early this morning… 🌙
getting up at five this morning and turning the coffee maker on…
lighting a candle and drinking a hot cup of coffee… :coffee:
meditating on yesterday’s Mass and thinking of the couple sitting in the pew next to me and their special needs son…
the quietness in the morning…so serene…the warm little body of my pup next to me… 🐕
 
I’m thankful that He is a loving and merciful Father that is patient with us.
 
I’m thankful for being able to sleep in today, and for the smell of coffee.
 
Got my teeth cleaned at the dentist’s office, and had the money to pay for it.
 
I’m thankful for the good news from my son, that they may be transferred to live near us this year. Nothing is final, but discussions continue.
 
For my annual physical exam at the doctors and didn’t have to worry about medical coverage.

Getting a good health grade from my doctor.
