What are you thankful to God for today?

I am thankful to God today for:

listening to my Prayers yesterday in Adoration Chapel…making my resignation from a church program very pleasant because He guided me in everything I said.
arising this morning and turning the coffee maker on,
enjoying a hot cup of coffee and sneaking a cookie to go along with it,
Praying on my antique Rosary,
seeing the beautiful day amid the rain coming down…
 
I’m thankful for the love of Christ in my life, for His Mercy and forgiveness.
 
Too many things to list but I’ll try😁

All my friends and family who love and support me.
My girlfriend who brightens my day with every smile. Seriously just one of her laughs could turn the dark vacuum of space into a sunny field full of kittens.
My ability to play music and let it be a conduit for the holy spirit.
My health in general
My mental health to be specific
All the gifts and little miracles that have saved me a thousand times over.
Coffee, God knew what he was doing when he made those precious little beans lol😂

Just everything.
 
For my nephew’s bloodwork stabilizing and his getting back on the transplant list!

It just might have straightened out.

I’ll take a good look at it a little later and if it really straightened out I’ll really have something to celebrate - no expense of getting it fixed; no inconvenience.
 
For my pain management doctor and his staff who are so kind, highly skilled and professional.
 
I tripped on a computer power cord that got tangled in my feet, and landed hard on my knees and hands on a tile floor. It really threw a shock through my body for a few minutes, but I’m okay. Might be more sore than usual tomorrow, but thankfully I’m okay. Scared my wife though!
 
I am thankful for my family, my Driver’s License, my health, the fact I’m in college, my home, my dog, my extended-family, the opportunity to study the Faith, and that Jesus died for us and gave us a Church with seven Sacraments.

I am sure I could list other things too.

That happened to me around Christmas.

Tripped over a power cord. Was in pain for a week.😣😖
 
I was thankful then, and I’m thankful now that my fall from a ladder and scaffolding while varnishing our vaulted ceiling resulted in only superficial wounds that quickly healed, and taught me to be more careful in high places. I could have died or been permanently crippled. God had other plans.
 
Third CT scan of my lung with a nodule on it in the last 27 months. No change in size and declared benign.

Deo gratias !
