I’m reading Wolves of the Calla, the 5th book in the Dark Tower series by Stephen King.

I hope someday to read this series.
Do any of the books get boring??
I highly recommend the series. I’m only on the 5th one now, but actually, so far, it’s my favorite. The Drawing of the Three had its boring parts, but it was still good. Wizard and Glass was a good story, but lengthier than it needed to be. Have you read other S. King books?

I read DUMA KEY

I enjoyed it.
I’m a Dean Koontz Fan.
I’m waiting for his third volume of Frankenstein.
I have only read a few of Koontz’s books. I read lots more King. Actually, I should start reading Koontz, too, because from what I have read, he is a faithful Catholic.

I enjoyed Duma Key. Not quite as good as Lisey’s Story, but still a good read. I just finished California Cooper’s Life is Short But Wide. I liked it. It was a good, semi-deep multi-generational story.

Just finishing “Contours of Old Testament Theology” by Bernhard Anderson. Also reading:

“Genesis” by Walter Brueggemann (Interpretation bible commentary series)

“Duty of Delight: The Diaries of Dorothy Day,” ed. Robert Ellsberg.

“The Inner Experience: Notes on Contemplation” by Thomas Merton, OCSO

All are excellent!

Currently reading:

The Imitation of Christ

and

Brideshead Revisited

I liked Lisey’s Story, but I thought it included a lot of rehashing of his earlier stuff. There were a lot of Dark Tower tie-ins with Lisey’s Story, I thought. One of his books I want to reread is Bag of Bones.

Finished Till we have Faces by C.S. Lewis and decided to hold off on the other two that I was going to read and started re-reading The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis.

Waiting on Chesterton and the Romance of Orthodoxy: the Making of GKC by William Oddie 👍

God bless

Right now, I’m reading *Star Trek *by Alan Dean Foster, the novelisation of the latest hit movie, which I also enjoyed.
