I am not sure how to believe that there are two separate compartments since I have no actual understanding to how that might work (the son is God, the father is God, the HS is God and Jesus sits at the right hand of the father-I don’t understand where the 2nd compartment might be or what is its significance). That being said, I see you say you read from the bible that there are 2 compartments. Where in the bible did you read that from? It would be great to learn something new today ")
Thanks

I too find in hard to understand such a heavenly sanctuary. It is hard to to visualize what heaven will be like and what bodies we will have in heaven. Just like understanding that the Holy Spirit dwells within us. But that is the thinking of my carnal mind. As Paul explains to us that if we are in Christ, we are not to walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. We have to put our faith in God’s word when he provides to us that there is a heavenly sanctuary, exactally like the pattern of the earthly sanctuary of the old testament. The verses that inform us of a heavenly sanctuary patterned after the earthly sanctuary can be found in (Heb 9:24) For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
The words “holy place” are translated from the Greek expression “ta hagia,” which is a plural form meaning “holy places.” Therefore, Paul is literally stating that Jesus would take His own blood and enter both apartments (holy places) of the true tabernacle in heaven to start ministering in our behalf.
In (Heb 8:2) A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
The word “sanctuary” in this text is the same plural form, “ta hagia”, meaning holy places. This proves that there had to be a holy place and a most holy place in the temple above.I heard someone say to me…“Where there is a shadow, there must be a substance casting the shadow.” When we think about it a shadow is an exact replica of a substance.
John in Rev. informs us of the “holy” compartment… (Rev 1:13) And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
John saw the Son of man in the first compartment of the temple in heaven, where the candlesticks always were located.
Revelation 4:5 and 5:6 continue to provide us with details of the “holy place” compartment in heaven.
As for the most holy place in heaven, read the words of John in Revelation 11:19, “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament.” Surely, this provides the final proof that the pattern for the earthly also had two apartments. The most holy place contained the sacred ark wherein were the Ten Commandments (Hebrews 9:4).
As a side note… God is meditating over the “ark of His testament” also known as the " ark of the covenant" where the Ten Commandments are placed, in the Most Holy place of the Heavenly sanctuary. The Heavenly Sanctuary is the real thing from which all the Old Testament was patterned. Here is the real Priest ( Jesus), the real mediation, and inside the ark of the covenant the real Ten Commandments ( as was given to Moses). If the law, or any part of the law, that was in the ark was abrogated at the cross, Christ is meditating for the transgression of an obsolete law. Remember , John in Rev. 11:19 is seeing this heavenly seen years after the cross.
If there are any other questions about the heavenly compartments let me know. Do you see the Holy place and Most Holy place in the Heavenly sanctuary?
