The Church says there is no issue believing in evolution as long as you believe the soul is unique in humans.
What then, is our belief in regards to dinosaurs? I don’t think we are believers that humanity coexisted with dinosaurs, so is it possible God created these creatures and eventually wanted to create man so destroyed them? Dinosaurs existed long before man but one has to presume since it is the same God, He created them before us.

The Church doesn’t say anything about dinosaurs that’s for science to figure out.

You use the word “eventually” which sounds like a measure of time. Since God created time, and is therefore outside of time, I think God, from all eternity, always wanted to create humanity. Create, that’s who God is, what God does.

It is amazing to me how generous God is in the super multitude of species and sub-species, in the expanse of the universe and the minuteness of the smallest particle.

I am awestruck!

Dinosaurs. What an amazing creation! 🦕🦖

Umm… that they existed? 🤔
I don’t think we are believers that humanity coexisted with dinosaurs
That’s a question that’s scientific rather than theological in nature, isn’t it? So… it isn’t a matter of faith (unless you’re talking about the faith of scientists in the accuracy of their assertions… 😉 ).
is it possible God created these creatures and eventually wanted to create man so destroyed them?
“Allowed them to go extinct”? Sure. “Destroyed them”? Hmm… not sure I’d go there.

Evolution or not on the back burner,
to the best of my knowledge The Church has not any specific Teachings concerning Dinosaurs…
or in fact about most other identifiable Organisms existing now or before now.

The dinosaurs were part of the ecosystem which make up the fossil fuels which made it possible for civilizations advance. As part of God’s plan, the earth’s resources benefit mankind.

There is absolutely no problem in regard to dinosaurs and other megafauna. The science is there, the fossils are there.
We are currently in a huge extinction period. This is as big as the extinction period that led to the end of dinosaurs.
Some estimates put the extinction crisis we are currently experience at 200 species of flora /fauna a day.

I can’ believe the Stones are still going strong - after all these decades.

You know, Fred and Wilma…

It could be that the first die off of the end of the Triassic era could correspond to Satan being cast out of Heaven. The second die off could correspond to the original sin of Adam and Eve.

Dinosaurs existed long before man
Well, according to Genesis 1-2; Exodus 20:8-11, “dinosaurs” (aka “dragons”, or “beasts of the earth” (maybe of the “sea” depending on who is asking) would have existed just before Adam was created, by a few minutes to hours, depending.

Gen 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

The ECF also were YEC. Nearly all of them.

The Church teaches that you are alive when the velociraptors start to eat you, so show a little respect (De Aria Iurassica IX.iv).

Oh I like how you think. And how fitting that the casting down of the fallen angel would take an entire worlds innocent life with down it.

Dinosaurs being the purview of science and Genesis telling us nothing about their existence, we are not properly “believers” of anything with respect to dinosaurs. We have no beliefs, only hypotheses and theories with respect to their material existence.
I agree, the scientific evidence is all over the place:
Noted hack. If you spend even five minutes on Google, you’ll have uncovered more about the record of his quackery than he ever uncovered about dinosaurs from 6,000 years ago.
