and what goes against Scriptures? who determines what goes against Scriptures? you? your denomination? the Catholic Church? who? as we know there are many enterpretations of the Scriptures now and days. have you gone back in history to see what the early Christians tought? what about the time when Holy Scriptures did not exist yet? who thought the people? do you know? did Jesus build a Church? what do you think the Apostles were doing during their time here on earth? if not building the Church. did the Apostles had authority given by Christ Himself? where do you thing that authority is today?As I have to keep saying, the Church are all born again believers, for many denominations.
I follow Christ and his teachings, which are clearly laid out in Scripture and there is no need for anything other that Scripture. Good teaching on the Scriptures is one thing, but it must not go against Scripture. We need God’s word and God’s word is enough.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16.
