What is happening to America today?

An equal or greater number of Americans consider Trump’s presidency the same way.

So, there’s that.
It’s going to happen faster with Biden since the neocons won’t be hampered by Trump anymore; they’ll have free reign once again as they did under Obama, Bush and Clinton.

Where will you find these voters? According to the Fox polls, the majority wanted the Senate to remove him from office immediately.

Yeh, they seem to be doing okay with a promise of $7 trillion.
They were before that.
The question is how to pay it back along with the well over 120 trillion already owed.

I remember people predicting the collapse of western civilization since I was 11 years old. And yet somehow life goes on.
I get that things change and not always for the better, but this doom and gloom narrative gets repeated every year it feels like.
And every presidential election is “the most important in our lives”. . . .

You know, sometimes when I’m able to get away from the noise and haste I wonder about this — are the stakes actually getting higher?

My general sense is “yes”, but I’m also open to hearing other feedback…🤔

You know that Sen. Durbin and Sen. Duckworth speak for Chicago and Champaign/Urbana. Most of the rest of the State of Illinois is for Pres. Trump and the Republican policies.

The only reason Illinois’ electoral college goes for the Democratic Presidential candidates is that Chicago’s population is greater than the total population of all the other counties in Illinois.

And this is true in many other states–the Big Cities speak up for Democrats, but the rest of the state is Republican and will vote for Pres. Trump.

I personally think that the news media is going too far and their stories about Pres. Trump and his shortcomings appear more and more ridiculous and FALSE to people who are benefiting from Pres. Trump’s economy even during the pandemic, and to people who agree with Pres. Trump’s economic and social agenda.

Here’s my take, ProVobis–when I hear Vice President Pence denounce Pres. Trump, then and only then will I believe that Pres. Trump is doing a bad job. VP Pence is one of the few politicians that I trust completely. In fact, he’s one reason why I will vote for Pres. Trump–if anything happens to our President, I would love to have VP Pence move into the Oval Office.

Good luck with getting our voices heard on social media. All they do is censor us and try to shut us up.

Might as well be 500 trillion if there’s no intention of ever paying it back.

So noted. So my British friends know, I haven’t voted on Election Day since I voted for Pat Buchanan in 2000. I don’t believe the Supreme Court should decide elections. A big problem for me.

With so many Americans being shot dead or wounded on the streets, i don’t see why Americans are demonstrating to eliminate police protection. It is not just adults who are being shot, it is even children. Why do Americans shoot innocent children and then demand that all police protection be eliminated or at least reduced? I don’t get the rationale here.

There is no valid rationale. They are angry, unhappy, godless people who have been pushed off the deep end by the combination of a pandemic and bad calls by police on top of it.

No they won’t. The Supreme Court just ruled the President is not above the law. Trump’s own SC nominees turned against him.

Reform Party, nice. Did you vote for him by choice, or were you trying to vote for Gore and they gave your vote to Buchanan? 🙂
I don’t think any court should decide either. The State constitution left it to the FL Secretary of State, IIRC, Kathleen Harris. It was Al Gore who sued to send it to the court system, remember. That was not necessary when the laws in place already accounted for the situation.

People become totally obsessed. Or perhaps “possessed” is a better word. As mentioned above @CradleRC58 - they’re godless. Atheism is moving quickly through the Millenial and GenY population. It’s a blindness of soul - a true darkness. There’s a lot of pain and hopelessness. Politics (Marxism) is seen as salvation. They are seeking emotional release. The media is filled with lies - continually.
But not just that - 90% of the information comes through social media where the anxiety, pain, hatred, obsession and emotion of one person or group is magnified and broadcast to your phone immediately all day long, in countless tweets, likes, notifications, texts, The brain is flooded with stimulation. They can’t think.
Some pick up guns - shoot innocent children or others. Their souls are numb to it. It’s like a take over from zombies. And the supposed adults in the national media continue to manipulate people. The public goes along with it.
Baptism gives light to the mind. We who are in Christ, are a different creation. We live on a supernatural order. It’s not like that in the world of darkness and sin.

When you grow up in a lop-sided system, see no hope for the future, and so forth, you tend not to value life as much. Hence the violence. Throw in a militarized police force and you can see as a young child right from the beginning that you are “different” in America. The idea of defunding the police is not to eliminate them, but to spend more money on social services, programs, intervention efforts, etc from the police budgets.

You are wide of the mark.

The neocons were never restrained by the Supreme Court under Clinton, Bush, Obama and Trump. And they won’t be restrained by the Supreme Court under Biden. Only Trump restrained them. But not even that much as they resisted him. Under Biden, there will be no restraint and we’ll be right back fighting all those foreign wars all over again as happened under Obama.

The Supreme Court didn’t stop Obama from following Bush by going into five more countries. You think that’s great foreign policy, then feel free to vote for Biden. Because you will get more of that.

Yep that’s it in a nutshell. The progressive left have high jacked the Dems,They’re trying to pull back with JB yet the young upstarts aren’t gonna let that happen. NP et all are having to capitulate to the likes of AOC,the future of the Dem party.🤮
