Deacon Daniel Dozier wrote the book. I just ordered it myself and look forward to reading it.
What is meant by the word ONE when people refer to the ONE Holy Catholic Church ?There was never a time when the One, Holy, and Apostolic Church consisted of a single church, nor that it was all directly ruled from Rome.
I disagree. She would find that the creed, the Lord’s Prayer, the Holy, Holy, Holy, the Alleluia, the homily, and the words of institution have direct correlation with the Mass.If you went to a Divine Liturgy, in English, none of it would be familiar to you, except the reading of the Gospel. You might even wonder what country you were in.

I think the tide is turning. One of things that was discussed at our Archeparical assemblies over the last year was that we should fully embrace our heritage and traditions, and that includes removing Latinizations. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong with the Latin Rite, so please no one take offense. But, we’re Byzantine. So we should be Byzantine. The attempt to stamp out Eastern Liturgy and impose the roman rite on the Ruthenians in the US has much to do with ACROD having come into existence . . .
There are a lot of different beliefs among Catholics as we see from statements of some German bishops.Church is one because it has unity (visible at that) between it’s members who are in full communion with each other,
Yes and no.If you went to a Divine Liturgy, in English, none of it would be familiar to you, except the reading of the Gospel.
The churches which are supposed to be in communion, that share the same faith (though they’ve been bickering for a millennium . . .)What is meant by the word ONE when people refer to the ONE Holy Catholic Church ?
just go to mass times.org–it (at least usually) lists EC as well as RC.The Eparchy of Pittsburgh (Ruthenian) has a list of all their active parishes across the US.
What I wrote is dogmatically defined. People can disagree, Church does not. There are a lot of different beliefs among Catholics as we see from statements of some German bishops.
