You’re right, it’s about explaining to them the true faith and warning them away from their heresies.
If this is your goal, why clutter up a discussion forum? Why not just publish a blog that has all the explanations and warnings? Why mislead people into thinking there is a discussion?

When people attended RHAMA bible school conferences. Kenneth e Hagan would demonstrate praying for people with the spiritual anointing. And w/o the Anointing.

The anointing is like a energy field.
Like when Jesus said “who touched me”
I felt energy going out of me .

I’m a member of the Association for research and enlightenment. Our main inspiration is that we can become one with God.

Protestants hold to major heresies, and are considered material heretics. Stop defending heresy. Now.
Sounds like a threat. What’s the “or else”?

I have known Guanophore on this forum for almost a decade. To accuse Guanophore of defending heresy is,frankly, ridiculous.

I have also experienced this. It is certainly inspiring!

LOL defending heresy? Really? Yes, Protestants do hold to major heresies, as do many so called Catholics.

My point is that focusing on the differences in beliefs BEFORE you focus on the commonalities destroys any productive interaction. Their baptisms, if they have had Trinitarian, are considered valid, and their faith building experiences within their ecclesial traditions should be affirmed as the fruit and work of the Holy Spirit.

818 "However, one cannot charge with the sin of the separation those who at present are born into these communities [that resulted from such separation] and in them are brought up in the faith of Christ, and the Catholic Church accepts them with respect and affection as brothers . . . . All who have been justified by faith in Baptism are incorporated into Christ; they therefore have a right to be called Christians, and with good reason are accepted as brothers in the Lord by the children of the Catholic Church."272

Please consider letting your evangelistic methods be guided by the Catechism!
Why do you even converse with these Heretics to begin with?
I think he made that clear - to show them the error of their ways!

Great to see you Jon! I took a long break because I was getting too frustrated. I am wondering if I came back too soon!

Never said the Vatican links are heretical, they’re quite the opposite, they’re the authoritative word of the Church. What? Do you think I deny Protestants as Christians? I do not, for to do so would be heresy and disobedience to the Church. Protestants certainly are separated brethren, they are material heretics, who do not fully follow Jesus Christ.

And what, you think beginning every remark to a Protestant poster by saying “please recant heretic” is actually going to actually change hearts and minds?

No! I think you are way out of line accusing Guanophore of defending anything but the Catholic Church. I honestly don’t care what you think of non-Catholic Christians.

I am telling you the full truth, the truths hurts. Jesus wasn’t afraid to call the Pharisees vipers because they follow traditions of men. Likewise, Protestants hold to the traditions of men.

It depends. How do you like being called a defender of heresy? 😂
It is faithful brethren like yourself that taught me how to have more productive dialogue here on CAF, and I will always be in defense of my siblings here on CAF.

It reflects an uneducated person to equate those raised in Protestant ecclesial communities with “heretics”, as the Catechism clearly states.
You are defending heresy, please recant.
Before I do that, perhaps you would be kind enough to respond to the sections of the Catechism I posted?
Do you think I deny Protestants as Christians?
It is difficult to tell, since you did not acknowledge them as your spiritual siblings. You seemed to want to attack them for their experiences of faith in Christ. You began, rather than affirming their relationship with Christ, with a desire to correct their “errors”.

I have met many Protestants who follow Christ more fully than most Catholics!
And what, you think beginning every remark to a Protestant poster by saying “please recant heretic” is actually going to actually change hearts and minds?
Not only that, but he is telling me I need to "recant for defending heresy " (though which one I cannot be sure). It certainly seems to lack a great deal when it comes to evangelism.
I too will ask you to reconsider your position. Im sure you mean well but i don’t think you are understanding @guanophore position.
JonNC most likely understands my position better than most anyone on CAF.

But I am curious, what “position” is it that you think you understand better than Jon?

I was replying to @thephilosopher6.

You are doing a good job. Keep it up!

Peace!!!

Read up. I feel no need to explain myself. I defend the Catholic faith, God is on my side.

I don’t think you do. Are you a priest or bishop? Are you Guanophore’s confessor?

Saying “God is on my side” sounds cult-like. I’m personally more concerned about being on God’s side.

And your lack of specificity is telling.
