Greens shared this bird with me below. Please pray for it. It needs to repent. The Lyre bird seems to be anything but truthful. Definitely a smooth operator, though.

I don’t believe it. It’s gotta be an April Fool’s joke.

It’s an incredible bird 🙂 I’ve been admiring your avatar wondering who it was .

My favorite bird is the Takahe, was thought to be extinct until being found in the Murchison Mountains of Fiordland in 1948

We have ravens where I live. I don’t t like them. They are as big as small dogs. The other day the trashcan lid was not down and they ripped open a trash bag and had trash everywhere.
They like to eat roadkill.
I like roadrunners, owls and eagles. In Scottsdale a few years ago, there was a nest high in a very tall tree on a golf course with two baby eagles. We drove by and I wondered what people were looking at. Then I saw the nest. They were cool.
They wouldn’t identify the golf course in the newspaper that wrote an article about them because they didn’t want people or teenagers to bother them. I watched when one of the parents brought food to feed them. The eagle’s nest was huge.

Here is a YouTube video link to the audio call of the Common Loon:

They are a water bird and can be seen on the lakes of our Northern states and in Canada, too.

We have them here up in the northern parts of Wisconsin.

We had seen one on a lake while on vacation one time, and it’s a very unique and beautiful bird, with a very haunting and eerie-sounding call.

I’ve already got three complaints from the Albatros Civil Liiberties Union because of this video, and it’s not even morning yet. Let’s try to be more sensitive in the future.

That is definitely eerie sounding.
And haunting.
I like it in movies when they have that call
in the background to set a scene.

Awesome sound.
I think so, too.

I have a nature sounds tape of Loon calls. It’s very relaxing, actually.

You can just imagine being near this pine forest next to a lake, and seeing the Loons on the lake and hearing them call out to each other like that. It’s really lovely, in my opinion.

God has really created some beautiful birds for us to enjoy!

I did have a foul experience one time years ago, when I was waiting for public transportation on my way to work.

I was waiting for a train, and the common pigeons used to hang out in the rafters above the station platform.

All of a sudden, it felt like “rain” on the top of my head, but it wasn’t raining outside…

You guessed it…

Some pigeons had decided to “visit” with me, on the top of my head…

I luckily had some tissues on me, and when I got to work, I did the best at trying to clean my head and hair in the ladie’s room.

OGM ,I do recall it 'raining ’ at high school. Some lovely sea gulls who would visit for crusts .

First. the Philadelphia Eagle ☺️🙃 ,[ sorry, to easy ] Blue Jays, Cardinals and the little sparrow.

We have Red-tailed hawks and Coppers hawks here, and some smaller kestrels too. It annoys me how the smaller birds chase and bully the hawks, who are superior in beak and talon, but just meekly accept the harassment 😠

I love to watch the hawks soar here as they are circling and looking for prey.

The nonindigenous birds always grab my attention, and now we have colonies of green conures here. No one is quite sure how they established themselves here, so far north from their usual habitat. I used to work in a pet store where we sold these little parrots, so I know their call very well.
