You’re my neighbor to the East. I’m sure that you get to see plenty of wildlife, once Spring starts to come around! 🙂
 
Last year on my birthday we attended mass in Flagstaff, AZ at St. Francis Assisi parish under the shadow of the San Francisco peaks. The parish had replicas of paintings from the life of St. Francis including the one I shared above. The Gospel reading that day? You guessed it.

Pretty sure squirrels are not at all carnivorous except the ones who have watched Psycho and other such like non-edifying movies.
 
Ok 🙂 So they are still cute. My kids had never seen them before and I swear the cheeky squirrels were teasing them to try and catch them …holding on to the
trunk of the tree,shiny eyes ,a flip of the tail .
 
Squirrels are so comical. God is funny, too, for making them. hehe. I hope that wasn’t too irreverant.

They are cute as long as they stay out of my tomatoes, quit digging up my day lilly bulbs, and leave my sunflowers alone. When they misbehave that is when they get sprayed with the garden hose. My dog used to chase them around, and although he never could catch one he did keep them out of the yard or treed. When the hawks show up they suddenly go into hiding.
 
Have you ever heard of a super soaker water gun? You should get one. 🙂
 
So they do cause some grief then 🙂
They couldn’t just be all cuteness .

Will possums count? Their claws are possibly sharper,
I have one eating the apples at the moment :confused:
 
I’m astounded Australians don’t have squirrels. It’s almost like not having birds. 😮
