What is your favorite television/cable show/series of everything that is out there?

I thought I would throw that out…my favorite series is : “Everyone Loves Raymond”…I find it so funny…it is a lot like my home life growing up…it is a stitch…anyone else? …other than that I watch football, basketball, baseball, tennis, boxing, billiards, soccer, the Olympics, and lots and lots of movies…my dvd collection takes a back seat to NO ONE! (hence the Ebay connection)…oh…the only reality series I will watch is “Fear Factor”…I love it…only because they do stuff that I know I could never do…I can live out my biggest fears and gross outs through them…anyways…that is my :twocents:

my fav shows (that are on now) are scrubs, 24, will and grace, the simpsons, and kim possible. 🙂

my fav shows that are no longer on - dark angel, seinfeld, the tick, the X-files, the greatest american hero, and the fall guy.

Raymond is one of the view “family” shows I can watch. I like “Without a Trace” but missed it last night.

I do try to watch EWTN if I watch at all.

My guiltiest pleasure has to be: Scrubs
and I must admit that sometimes I’ll watch: Arrested Development.

I actually ended up downgrading my cable to its most basic: I only have 14 channels… hey, penance on earth means something, right?!

Will-- if you don’t watch it, you’re gonna have to join the Internet Junkies Society… as a full-fledged member, not as THE honorary one!!!

Alias. It’s a great show. Lot’s of action and suspense. Besides Jennifer Garner is H-O-T!
 
I like Cold Case Files because they get the bad guy in the end!

I guess I must be too old but I think “Everyone Loves Raymond” is repetitive. Same joke, different verse every episode. Raymond and his wife joking about bedroom antics. Sexual innuendo after sexual innuendo. Raymond’s nerdy brother and his problems with women. Strange and offensive parents. Enough already, can they come up with another story line?

My husband thinks it’s funny so maybe it’s a guy thing?

Shoot…I forgot…I do watch the Sopranos…it is the only series on HBO that I watch…I did watch Curb your Enthusiasm…a few times…and sometimes I do watch Seinfeld re-runs…forgot about those…
 
Lisa…my dad is a Frank Berone clone…that is why I enjoy it so much…he handles things like my dad would…and the married stuff is very much like what actually happens in instances and can be so funny when you can relate to them…just my opinion…not saying that they are right or wrong…but very funny…at least to me…:twocents:

Will - I think this thread should have been called, “Getting to know you”.

I’m with ya on the Fear Factor gross out food things. It’s so horribly compelling that you can’t turn away.

My 2 boys and I tried to play the icky food challenge at home. We each picked something we hated and had to eat it. Any guesses on who chickened out? Can I just tell you how much I hate peas?

Favorites have to be Scrubs and Futurama. I can’t wait until next Friday when the new Battlestar Galactica premeires.
 
There are only two shows that I feel like I haven’t wasted my time after watching: Malcolm in the Middle, and The Simpsons.Oh, and I love Oregon Field Guide, but since it’s on PBS (which apparently is “nerdy” for college students to watch, who knew?), I usually don’t mention it. I got tired of being made fun of.
 
:hmmm: On EWTN …The Journey Home is a favorite…I like a lot of things there…

Dog the Bounty Hunter…really enjoy that show

Extreme Home Makeover…never miss it.

The only other TV I watch beside EWTN is “Everyone Loves Raymond” and I’m sorry to say I still watch *a Soap Opera…been watching this for over 20 years:o *

I also like Law and Order shows and I watch Everybody loves Raymond also…my family loves it.

Ha, you mentioned all that I would have mentioned… I cry every time I watch Extreme Home Makeover…

My hubby and I watch Law & Order Criminal Intent… I love the male detective…

and, Gilmore Girls

I really don’t watch TV that much… But, I do have it on when I am laying in bed… I spend more time on here.

When I was little my favorite shows where

Hey Annunciata…I used to watch Young and Restless and my mother did as well… In fact, I chose my sons name Philip from the show 😃

I really like tv…some of the show are well… :eek: and I don’t watch those but all in all there are some good shows out there.

I also, like Nanny 911 and have watched the Swan :o

Amy, I really enjoy Without a Trace. It sure puts you at the edge of your seat!

Love L&O too and I am SOOOOO bummed that Jerry Orbach died. I just loved him in this series. I was really looking forward to his new show. :crying:
