NM2:
At the end of last season. The first new episode (1/21) is supposed to include Adrian’s “interviewing” for a new assistant.
Oh…good thanks for the info…I really liked that program then they would go into reruns, etc, etc, 😃

CSI (original), Lost, Life is Worth Living and Fr. Copapi (new series).

If I really want to stretch for variety I have to throw I that I love Spongebob Squarepants.

I love, love, love The Sopranos and Curb Your Enthusiasm, but we don’t get cable, so I have my cousin tape them for me. I also love Trading Spaces–again no cable, so I watch it only when I am visiting someone who does. We don’t want all the trash on cable so our children can’t see it.

I watch reruns of Everyone Loves Raymond and Will and Grace almost every night. I didn’t see them the first time around and I think both shows are hilarious. I get a good laugh before I go to bed.

Lisa N:
I see so many “Raymond” fans. I guess I must be a total dolt. I just don’t think it’s funny. Doesn’t anyone else think all the sexual innuendos get a bit lame? I confess to not actually WATCHING it carefully. My husband watches reruns and I sometimes sit and try to watch it and usually walk out after about five minutes.
I agree. I used to watch Raymond every week until a few years ago after it seemed like most of the jokes were deragatory and mean, week after week.

Smallville. Very interesting. Well well written. Well thought out. Well acted. Well filmed.

It keeps getting more and more sensual though, which is not only unnecessary, it is inappropriate for a show staged in high school.

Yayyyy! :bounce: Another vote for the Yellow One - “Absorbent and yellow and porous is he!!”

you know, you learn alot about someone, whether you’d get along with them or not, by what shows they like or hate.

for instance, someone who loves reality tv and hates ‘friends’ is pretty much automatically someone i will not get along with.

it’s interesting to see how it plays out with various people on the msg board.

Current shows? Extreme Home Makeover, Desparate Housewives, What Not to Wear, Overhaulin (I wish my husband still had his clunker, I’d sign him up in a heartbeat! And I think Bryan Fuller is my tv boyfriend), The Amazing Race, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, and Scrubs. There’s a bunch of shows that we have on dvd and watch that way; all of them are cancelled shows except for 24, which we refuse to watch live (too suspenseful).

And does Formula One count? Go Mark Webber!

So you didn’t see the four-hour season premiere (2 hours Sunday night, 2 hours Monday)? Season 4 started off with a bang (literally). People found out very quickly that bad stuff happens when they don’t take Jack Bauer’s advice seriously. Awesome!

Although it was suspenseful- I spent much of the 4 hours wringing my hands and yelling at the TV. :o

Nope, Jen, we’ve only seen seasons 1 and 2. Once I get a job and my first paycheck we’ll buy season 3. I just don’t think I could wait a week to see the next episode. We started watching the first season before Christmas, the day after my husband’s last finals and my last day at my old job. We thought we’d just watch an episode over lunch, and then go back to packing. We … um … proceeded to watch 8 episodes in a row. Other than one Star Wars marathon, and LeMans every year, I’ve never done that before! Very compeling show!

There are 2 shows my wife and I try REALLY hard not to miss:

LOST and Joan of Arcadia.

'course I indulge my wicked side frequently with The Simpsons.

HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN!!! How could I have forgotten? TVLand is running a marathon this week and I’ve never really caught it since it’s hayday!

Last night there was an episode that had me in tears. A man, whose son died in Vietnam, tried to hold a service and no one came. The story then told of the people in his life and how the angel helped them remember what this soldier did in their lives. So moving!

Has anyone here seen Let Them Eat Cake, Kath and Kim, Absolutely Fabulous or Blackadder?

My Favorite T.V. show is “Monk” on USA. He is a detective
with OCD. (Obsessive compulsive disorder) I can identify with
him as I have this, but not near to that degree! :clapping: :bounce:

“Keeping Up Appearances” on BBC America is hilarious!!

Seventh Heaven

Malcom in the Middle

Someone mentioned :“Father Ted”. I think it’s rather anti-Catholic. My Irish husband thinks it’s produced by Brits making fun of the Irish.
