Not much. It has also be shown that the music is the *last *thing that keeps them in Church. Teens move with the zeitgeist of the times, and then they mature and move on… to other music. Most of the time, they also “move on” to other denominations, unfortunately. If they come back to the Church at all, it is usually when they decide to get married and raise a family. And, in my opinion, THAT is where the emphasis should be.I don’t really know what to think of it. I hate the loud, raucous music they have at the Mass, and dislike the way they pray the Creed. I know the priest who started it was excommunicated, too.
What do you guys think of it?
Is it really keeping teens at church?
