It’s murder. Most of the mothers who have abortions do so under duress, and often by the time they grasp the meaning of it they are actually anestetized and can hardly think or move, so they are not guilty of premeditated homicide exactly. Their culpability varies from case to case. But the abortionists are guilty at least of manslaughter or something close and a woman of normal intelligence who has full information and full freedom who repeatedly aborts wthout any health issue to constitute a mitigating factor is also guilty of manslaughter. If the woman’s life is endangered by the pregnancy I think it should remain legal but only if the doctor makes a well-documented good-faith attempt to find a way to save mother and child. If an abortion must take place to save the mother’s life, which would be extremely rare if the doctor truly examined every possible way to save both, I believe the law should require anesthetic for the child as well as the mother. I’m sick to my stomach at the notion that a baby can be torn limb from lib with no anesthesia.
It’s very hard to say what I think about it. On one hand, life is not man’s property to give or take away, it’s God’s. On the other hand, I know what some people do to the innocent and

On the one hand again, when two men rob a store or whatever, they are tried separately and the “brains” of the job usually gets a few years and parole and the flunkey, who is very often mentally slow, gets the chair. So it’s unfair. One the other hand again, though, a man like Ted Bundy or Ed Gein or Charles Manson or Jeffrey Dahmer or Paul Bernardo… to live knowing your child was killed in such sickening ways for such sickening reasons by someone like that, and that the killer is sitting in the weight room right now or eating his dinner on your dime… It seems so unfair then too, so it’s a tough call. Maybe just for serial killers, not store robbers.
A big mess. Probably someone’s fault. No one understands it. A little democracy in the region might catch on. It’s an easy taste to acquire. But the cultures over there seem to have a harder time getting into freedom than we have. I hope we don’t destroy ourselves and the whole world trying to untangle it.
Right to exist. Special place in the world. They have the same political rights and responsibilities as every other country regardless.
Too easy to lose all rights once we give up the right to bear arms and to defend ourselves.
Important. It’s going fast, too. We need to be less greedy and wasteful. We need to hold companies accountable for pollution and waste and try to limit our individual contributions to those problems. I used to try harder. I guess I could try harder again.
