Funny that all Mormons seem the same. Don’t like to answer. O well. Ok not ALL…but most, lol.
sanblasboy,
I am new here, and have interest in this topic, and would be glad to give you answers, based on my understanding.
I am an excommunicated Mormon. I claimed the right to legitimately disagree with the present church leadership, and they would not allow that, even though church revelations do allow it.
However, I have faith that the LDS church is the Lord’s restored church, and will eventually be set in order.
The Mormon faith is that there is ONE infinite God, but that one God is NOT one personage. These personages are ONE because they are in total unity, as taught in John 17.
So, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are three separate finite Personages within a greater infinite family union of exalted personages. They are the Godhead that created and continue to govern this earth.
Since I was never taught them, it is easy for me as a Mormon to reject the medieval “creeds”, and the metaphysical doctrines built up on these creeds, such as the Trinity.
A person can fully believe all the Bible and accept the Mormon faith, but they cannot accept the creeds.
