I am forty-two and I find myself listening to the music of my ‘youth’: Pink Floyd, The Who, U2, The Police and The Stones. 😃

I enjoy classical, but I am not very educated about it. I have much to learn and don’t know where to start. I want to grow, but a part of me is a little lazy, I guess.

I listen to oldies but not blues so I picked the Broadway, Vocals one. Did you mean Mozart classic? I don’t listen to that much.

I wasn’t sure what to put between classic Rock and Country. I put Country. I like George Straight and Garth Brooks and Led Zeppelin and The Stones. I also like oldie but that wasn’t there.

I listen to both kinds of music.

Country and Western! 😃

I AM from Oklahoma, after all. 😉

I like all sorts of music mainly older stuff. I love Janis Joplin, blues a bit of rock, classical and i dont even mind a bit of opera thrown in. Cant stand the new stuff. Sue.

I listen mostly to country on the radio, and classical on the CD player.

I love everything.

I will listen to everything from CCM to Classical to Bluegrass to Death Metal, and everything inbetween.

Please note that this does not include country, as it does not qualify as music. 👍

I chose country since it was the only one choice that did not have something I do not listen to.

I listen to the following:

1: Country.
2: Classic Southern Rock (CCR type).
3: Classical (i.e. Mozart and Beethoven).
4: Gregorian Chant (I have a couple of CD’s)

Hard to pick one… I listen to a lot of stuff. My picks:
  1. Classical, mostly baroque era, and sacred choral - very loud too. 😃
  2. **Classic rock ** - Stones, Bowie, Beatles, Zepelin, etc… also very loud.
  3. Folk music - celtic, american, western, anything ethnically inspired.
NEVER NEVER country!! aaargg!! my husband listens to that and it drives me crazzzyyyyy!!! :banghead:

Heresy, pure and simple.

Christian Music helped me internalize my passion for Christ and helped lead me to the Catholic Church:)

Country Music is pretty awesome though not all of it:(
I like how some of the songs tell stories of how much people love Jesus, but still have struggles :o

I like Folk too 👍 Does the same kind of thing with a different sound

Seven Sorrows:
I am shameless and I listen to my catholic band Seven Sorrows

That’s not shamelessness - you guys are great (my favorite is “Advent”) !!! I’ve downloaded your free mp3s to make gift CDs for my (Catholic) nephew and the (Fundamentalist) son of a friend (still waiting to hear if he’s listened to the lyrics).

sweet, burn cds for anyone you want, we aren’t in it for the money, we are in it for the souls.

We got to play Steubenville West and over 3000 kids were there…it was awesome, you should read on our page under references, on what some kids said…crazy

God Bless

Mostly, but just barely, Classical. The rest is almost all Classic Rock: Eagles, Who, Zeppelin, the usual suspects. And I’m a major Parrothead.

I listen to all kinds of music but mostly classic rock and not the overplayed stuff. I grew up listening to 8-tracks and you had to listen to the entire thing just to get to the songs you liked. I think most on this forum know what 8-tacks are, if you don’t your Blessed! 🙂
