DID NOT VOTE AS I DON’T SEE A CATEGORY FOR SIMON AND GARFUNKEL, THE RAT PACK, FRANK SINATRA-ANYTIME OF HIS CAREER. THAT’S MOSTLY WHAT I LISTEN TO, BUT HAVE BEEN KNOWN FOR YEARS TO LISTEN TO CHRISTMAS MUSIC ALL YEAR LONG AS WELL AS OLDER COUNTRY-60’S AND 70’S.

Not one single vote, I cant beleive no one out there listens to rap?

In case you didn’t read them all:

Seven Sorrows is a Catholic band, take a listen and see what you think. Everything we do is for free, so the music is on us, spend your $15 on a rosary!

I listen to folk music which is not listed as one of the options. I am also am a volunteer folk music DJ on a community radio station in northern Wisconsin. Listen to my favorite music that I play every fourth Wednesday of the month from 7:30 to midnight on FM 88.9 WOJB or www.wojb.org.

I have XM radio, and love listening to the Broadway station. While I dislike the lifestyle of Peter Allen, I simply adore Hugh Jackman, and love hearing him sing the songs from “The Boy From Oz”.

Past that, I have very ecletic music tastes. Of A Revolution is an amazing group, kind of in the reggae-Marley style. U2, Blues Traveler, Barenaked Ladies (love them!), They Might Be Giants, Billy Joel, Mark Cohn, Harry Connick Jr., Queen, Might Might Bosstones. Pretty interesting variety, eh?

I love everything.

I will listen to everything from CCM to Classical to Bluegrass to Death Metal, and everything inbetween.

Please note that this does not include country, as it does not qualify as music. 👍

Agreed. Although everyone’s opinion is their own and there is no wrong answer when asking a question like this, country music is always the wrong answer.

But again, everyone is entitled to their opinion… except for country music, then they are wrong

Hard Rock for me. Thanks.

P.S. You are not allowed to argue with this post, as any arguement for country music must be fallible.

Broadway show tunes. My kids don’t know a single Brittney Spears song but they know every word to Annie Get Your Gun - (our current fav) 🙂 CM

I voted for country.

I mostly listen to the radio, as opposed to CD’s… I used to alternate between the country station and the pop station. Then I really started to pay attention to the lyrics instead of just the music…

Maybe I am just getting old, lol, but I found myself getting increasingly offended by the pop lyrics. I was happily suprised to find out how many good moral/spritual messages there actually are in country music (“Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy” excluded, of course, lol)

I also listen to oldies… flashbacks to childhood:)

I am not much into gospel, although we do own a double CD set of Elvis singing gospel… that man could sing the phone book and I’d love it, lol.

I like Christian Radio AIR1 on the Radio & the internet… air1.com/

Hard to pick one… I listen to a lot of stuff. My picks:
  1. Classical, mostly baroque era, and sacred choral - very loud too. 😃
  2. **Classic rock **- Stones, Bowie, Beatles, Zepelin, etc… also very loud.
  3. Folk music - celtic, american, western, anything ethnically inspired.
NEVER NEVER country!! aaargg!! my husband listens to that and it drives me crazzzyyyyy!!! :banghead:
Oh my husband listens to country too:eek: I can’t take it:crying: NO NO NO:banghead: I do not know what is worse the whining, howl type vocals or the depressing content:nope: When he gets on a L_O_N_G country binge I want to crawl under a rock.God Bless

i didn’t like any of your categories. i listen to alot of pop, especially the music of the late 90’s. but i also listen to some christian, like rachael lampa and russ taff and steve taylor and plumb, and i also listen to classical - esp handel and tchaikovsky. a ‘mix’ station usually has alot of what i listen to on it.

What I grew up with mostly 60’s thru early 80’s classic rock and pop oldies. I have a collection of rare longversions, and rare stereo versions for many to behold. cant stand country or rap. Im 37. my 41 yearold wife listens to mainly showtunes.

I enjoy so many, country, soft rock, oldies, classical, christian, a little hard rock if its 70’ and 80’s, jazz. 😃

I am particular about my music now. Mostly its classical, gregorian, classic rock, and some new wave. Seven sorrows, your band is awesome! :yup: Hope is my favorite song

time spent on listening to each composer’s music
