Sue
Haha–from Johnny Cash’s A Boy Named Sue…“and if I ever have a son, I think I’ll name him…Bill or George; anything but SUE!”

There was a hockey player for the Pittsburgh hockey team a few years ago whose name was “Satan”.

I’m not sure about the name Devilin,I met a boy about 8 who was a real little rascal and cute, but very misbehaving and it just sounded wrong 🙂

Used to work with a girl whose last name is pagan. She is Catholic. Jack Chick was right!

Aside from avoiding the Islamic names, naming your child after a Saint still works, plus he will have a patron saint looking after him in addition to his guardian angel. Aside from that, no “cutesie” names like Biff. Nothing embarrassing like Clarence or Myron.

The BVM took over lucifer (light bearer’s) place now. Fr mike schmitz made a whole video about it, im pretty sure…

When naming your kid, one must also keep in mind that they will grow up some day and what sounded cute as a baby might be embarrassing for an adult, especially an adult male.

Also, ideally, both parents have a say, but, if dad is unavailable, it may be prudent to run a name by another man before naming your son to avoid inadvertently naming your boy a very effeminate guy name just because it sounds nice to you. I’m a girl and I was surprised when my guy friend who read a chapter from my novel says that my male characters’ names sound Twilight-ish. I was understandably mortified.
