Wow, I have to be careful on this Thread. People can’t tell when I am making a joke and when I am serious. I also made a boo boo myself by quoting the wrong post and replying to a different one. Oops!

In all seriousness, It doesn’t matter who sinned first in the Garden because they both sinned. I also believe that God made woman and man each with different skills and gifts. I believe God made man physically stronger to protect women so that they can remain vulnerable and open because vulnerability and openness help her to be more nurturing, caring, and affectionate with her children. God made men with a certain nature to be fierce if necessary, look at Jesus when he raged through the temple because it was being violated. He also made them physically agile and able to handle heavy labor.

I was once asked, “Why do you think women were not allowed to fight in wars? It is not because they are not capable but because they are too valuable, they are the “life bearers” and ensure the survival of mankind. The perpetuation of life must be guarded even if a man must die.”

God has entrusted the rearing of children to the constant nurturing of a woman. This is her highest calling. God entrusted to men the protection of both. If a woman must work to ensure that her children eat then by all means she should work but if it is possible for her to stay home with her children all measures should be taken for this very high purpose. Children need the constant love and guidance of their parents, no one can do the job as well as the parents. To be a father means something different than being a mother. We can observe nature and see that it is very rare that the Father of a species cares for the cubs, rather it is the mother that cares for her cubs.

This isn’t about man vs. woman. We are mutually dependent on each other for survival and perpetuation of life. Although, it is fun to joke about the rivalries in good humor, it also is not a joking matter for many, some have been hurt severely from the broken relationships between men and women, including children.

Satan from the beginning has tried to tear the sexes apart from each other and from God. We must always guard the union between men and women and always work to image the union of the Trinity in our relationships.

Whoever is least of importance in this world is great in heaven, whoever puts themselves lowest and last is raised up by God.
My dear Lady Love is making sure I will be great in heaven!😃

Thank you for your blessings,
Michael
Oh no, my friend! I will not allow it! 😃 You and I will walk hand in hand, not ahead of me or behind me but beside me. Awwe, aren’t I sweet! :hug3:

Implying that men do not love their children already eh?

Would you advocate Male breast feeding as well?
Only those who have sufficiently developed breast tissue.:Dd

BTW you could try to understand what I was saying. Please read in the context of what I was responding to.

This quote is particularly telling, isn’t it? And that’s not even the scariest quote of his, at least from a Catholic/Christian perspective.
Evil will do whatever evil will do.

We win in the end. Although there will be heck to pay in the interim methinks.

I agree with grannymh, This is a very good post.🙂

OK, who knows the answer to the question following this one?

The Rockefellers heavily financed the women’s lib movement, because it would achieve what two major benefits to the Rockefeller family?
*Hi Alan,

I was thinking about this post of yours some more today and I remembered something I thought of a few years back about the women’s lib movement.

I have never really totally understood it and had never really tried to wrap my brain around it. When I was pregnant with our youngest child I was at my doctor’s visit and the mid-wife started to ask me questions about our home life and why I had chosen to stay home. I gave here a brief run down and ended it by saying that even though we had to give up a lot and file bankruptcy in order for me to be able to stay home the peace of heart, mind, and soul I had resulting from that decision was more than worth it. She then made a comment to me about how women had been sold a “crock of sh**” in the idea that they could have it all. I walked away from that visit thinking about it and what the woman’s lib thing was all about and that I did not understand why she was upset with it. No had forced her to choose to try to have it all. It was then that it seemed to hit me. What I realized was that maybe the reason some people were probably ok with the women’s lib movement was because they had come to understand that if a woman was going to be a “stay-at-home mom” and let the husband be the primary wage earner then it should be a free choice on the woman’s part. Not something that man made her do. If this choice is forced on her then that would seem to go against her dignity of her having free will. So it has always made me wonder if the woman’s lib movement started out with a good intention but like everything else, because of our fallen nature, we did not understand or see it clearly and used it to satisfy our passions or desires…anyway…just thought I would through in some more food for thought :)*
