Our parish, where we regularly attend mass, has confession scheduled for after the masses given on Saturdays. (both 9am and 5:30pm masses) I have been going to Confession at a different parish (one we attended when we first moved to FL) and that time is from 3:30 to 4:15pm. Typically, it’s convenient, some days it’s not. The priest is sometimes late, and the lines are very long, and it often turns into an hour long or more excursion for us as a family. Maybe I need to be praying for patience or something.
We decided today, after leaving because the priest didn’t show, and it was going on 3:45pm, that after the 9am mass on Saturdays would be a better time for us, and frankly, I’d like to go to Confession at the parish where we belong.
So…just thought I’d ask everyone what time is your Sacrament of Penance within your parish…and does that time work for you?
