Jesus said many will come in my name. I just know Christ would not like how they mock Him. King David is in no comparison to jibber jabber.
I’ll co-sign to that statement.
Besides, babbling in incoherent languages only happened once in The Holy Bible and God wasn’t happy with it…
Doesn’t this remind one of Protestantism?
Genesis 11:
4And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Protestants decide to create their own churches built upon their own reasoning on how to get to God completely ignoring what God has already revealed.
5And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
I cant’ speak for God regarding His feelings about Protetantism (“not” individual Protestants, but the religion itself)
6And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Disobedience to The Church instituted by Jesus Christ.
7Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.
The Holy Trinity decides to put a stop to this fake church being created and protects the faithful from the ignorance of the fallen away.
8So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Yep. That sounds like one religious movement falling apart into 34,000+ different denominations with different beliefs and different manners of worship and with different interpretations.
9Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
Being that earth can represent man (as man is made “of” earth…Adam literally meaning “of the earth”), this seems to show that God may have Himself made sure that ignorance couldn’t have risen up to confuse His Church as well. He did it with Babel…why not again? Could this have been a prophecy as to the Protestant revolt against The Church of Jesus Christ?
