What's the difference between Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses?

To put it plainly, I try my imperfect best to be obedient to the word of GOD.

You ask why to Chapter 7, because I don’t want to overload you with information. Its difficult to digest food when you overeat. If you would like we can read from GEN TO REV…But that is just to start people off reading their bibles.

How can you say that? Do you know any of us? Do you know what some of us went through and had to struggle with and give up to become Catholic?? Please, I really want to have a fruitful dialogue here, but don’t say things like that. This adds nothing to the conversation. I did a lot of research into history. And I found too much evidence that the early Church was Catholic to ignore it. I also have read the entire Bible several times, been reading it everyday for a long time now. I would not be part of any religion unless I had done my homework and was convinced of the truth. You can argue I’m wrong, which I am fine with, but don’t imply anyone here is only Catholic because they have never studied. I would never say that about you.

We are brothers and sisters in Christ with you, please extend the same courtesy you would give your own denomination to us as well. Thanks.👍

Admit what, I have not stated anything about the history of JW’s only what I have studied and any truth I see in the scriptures. People want to speak about everything except the scritpures. Notice I asked a question about the Levites, and I don’t people understand the weight of the question.

That is commendable that you read so assertively. Most christians around the globe do not read. What do you think about this scripture?

TexanKnight, what are you babeling about. Credibility? I have quoted scriptures you don’t even have your own biblical questions to ask…You are asking questions from someone else? Think for yourself…

Thats a bold statement. Is there proof to this? Kind of like you assumed that none of us here were mormons or jw’s before and we were born catholics.

Have you ever read and studied the first chapter of Johns gospel besides the NWT? The NWT has changed the meaning to try and disprove the Holy Trinity and the divinity of Jesus.

In John first chapter you will learn the Word is Jesus, the Logos. Surely you don’t believe that the bible has existed from the beginning, is God, and nothing exists without the bible? If you do you are an idolator worshipping a book.

I give up, I grew up debateting things with cultists, I was a cultist, and cultists do not debate they lecture and if they don’t have their way they take their paper and ink God and refuse to play.

BTW I have read and do read the bible, the whole bible on a regular basis.

What does Deuteronomy mean and why? Honestly, I just want people to study. Most people are not honest with themselves, I speak constantly about scriptures believe me from personal experience people do not read?

Wonderful I commend you. I have read a little of John and it led me to study more so I began to peer into the orginal greek and hebrew words. I ran across this word Prototokos…I think you should really study this, and then figure out why begotten is such an important word.

Yeah well, I’ve always been sort of a book worm 😃

As far as 1 Cor 15:22-28 goes, what about it? If you’re wondering if I believe it, of course I do.🙂

Now my turn. How do you view Heb 2:10 in light of Isaiah 44:24. Hebrews (and other places I might add), says it is by Christ that all things exist. John 1:3 says the same thing. “Without Him, nothing was made that was made” In other words, He created everything. But Isaiah 44:24 tells us that God created everything without any help from anyone. So, we either have a contradiction, or Christ is being revealed as God.

But I’m actually more interested in your answer to my first question, how do you know any of the New Testament is inspired by God?
