Still with the weeds, these clover flowers sprout anywhere they can at my mom’s house. These came up through cracks in the concrete patio and fence, and they’re as pretty as anything we try to grow.

I think they might be an oxalis ? My parents have a row of pink ones that come up and flower every year,they never seem to spread from where they are.We used to chew the sour stems as kids .

Both sweet briar and water hyacinth
I don’t know .

I once found some sweet briar and planted in the garden for my grandmother , but a neighbour , who was a good gardener , told her to tell me to dig it up because it wasn’t right to have it in a garden . 😄

A field of Irises .

If I remember rightly an iris was the first flower I grew successfully from its bulb .

Another one of my favorites is the fragrant tuberose.

My mother had at one time blown glass replicas of these calla lilies.
