Oh, yum! Oh, sorry, wrong thread … 😊

Thanks for the recipe! Tempted to try it. Wonder if canned pears could be substituted instead?

Just realized that for a couple of day before this morning tea, medical appts are scheduled … so am wondering if you know if this will keep nicely in the fridge if I make it on the Wednesday for the Saturday?

I think it will.

I even think it will improve as the gingerbread flavor melds with the pears.

I’ve been served apple pie with a slice of cheddar cheese.

This was in the States. 🤔

I love cheese with anything .

On Gillygate where i had the apple pie and custard there’s another restaurant called “Love Cheese” , but I avoided it because I would have stayed all day eating cheese . 😉

Envious of whoever owns this garden.

I used to have a garden with roses, jasmine, ginger lilies along with herbs and vegetables. Also had lemon and banana trees growing in it.

I miss puttering around in it.

Britain’s 8th favourite flower is the bluebell , and I agree . They are beautiful , especially in a shaded , secluded wood .
