Reading a biography yesterday I came across this name for gloves .

It’s a new one to me , showing how I am lacking in the area of household chores . 😊

Nice name though , but I still prefer the garden variety . 😉

I don’t know how they found these results , but Britain’s 11th favourite flower is the sweetpea .

Perhaps it’s someone pitying me and finding an excuse for my posting beautiful photos of flowers .

The first time I heard of these flowers was when I read a book on Queen Victoria.

This was her husband’s favorite flower.

Flower of May.

Fragrant, delicately beautiful but toxic.

What IS that? 😍 I want it 😒

A little packet of Moonflower seeds came in the post today 😃

Plant them where the light of the moon touches them.

They kind of glow when hit by moonlight and the fragrance is subtle but there.

Hmm, I’m in a poetic mood today. 🤨

It is lovely, isn’t it? Haven’t seen it before, so I too would like to know it’s name.

My phone has stretched them out I think!

Those are so lovely. Can you send me some please for my birthday next month? 😊

I don’t know what type of blue flowers those are, but they are actually quite small. The close-up camera shot makes them look larger. They’re one of the many plants which my sister brings home, since it looked pretty in the garden center, and then because she’s so busy it becomes my responsibility to care for 😒. Right now, it’s in a pot that’s too small, which might be affecting the color of the flowers.
