I once got her some dahlias which she wasn’t keen on . She said they were full of “wick things” which around here means creepy-crawlies , but i like their colours .

Earwig bugs like dahlias. Mum’s garden has lots of earwigs. Not seen one earwig in my garden yet. Perhaps because I have lots of skinks in the garden.

We have lots of earwigs here too. The worst creepy crawler in our garden, in my opinion, is this potato bug, also called the Jerusalem Cricket. Even though I know they’re relatively harmless, they still give me strong reaction of fear when ever I see one 😬.
