Everyone should remember that God’s Mercy is not to be underestimated. May the Holy Spirit enlighten them and if not, may God bless all the atheists in the world and have mercy on their souls.
When you see how some of the more prominent “people of God” behave, sometimes that’s incredibly easy to do.but they still deny God, consciously.
if a person denies God and claims to be an atheist, it is a moral decision that generally allow certain actions in a persons life that a christian wouldn’t do (without guilt at least) including those actions stated above.Atheism is simply an opinion
but not if they stay atheist and deny God.All have hope. There are no exceptions.
yes they do they put themselves up as the only moral being and therefore, place themselves as a god above God.Atheists have no other gods before God
can you deny God verbally and get into heaven? he spoke the words. And you know the heart of no one but yourself. So lets not speak about their relationship with God. We can only speak definitively of our own.
The law is written on their hearts and those “atheist” people are responding to it. I say “bravo”.
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
you claim he said he never believed, not that he didn’t know God.You talk of denial. Maybe they just don’t know.
You are fortunate. You have experienced God for yourself. He has changed your life. He has spoken to you personally. He speaks to you daily. When you pray you get an answer.
Same here.
Not everyone is so fortunate.
Dan certainly is. He is a builder by trade. 6’2", muscled, angry, looking to punch anyone who winds him up at the moment. He said I’ve never believed in God. How can there be a God when my son died?’
go on a few atheist forums and you will see a lot of denying God exists and attempts to persuade believers to give up their belief. It’s interesting this use of “denies God” — it is an expression which attempts to turn the holding of an opinion into some kind of action. Atheists don’t “deny God”, they simply don’t believe in His existence. It is hardly possible to deny someone who doesn’t exist. And such an opinion is not a moral decision, it is an opinion on a widely disputed subject: atheists can be as moral or as immoral as Christians.
an opinion is a judgment formed about something,He said I’ve never believed in God. How can there be a God when my son died?’
it absolutely can be. many atheist are atheist because they just don’t want to follow God’s moral law.such an opinion is not a moral decision
but their morals are subjective and evolution doesn’t require any morals at all. it is just a communal get alongatheists can be as moral or as immoral as Christians
you are assuming againSo you have never experienced God? Yet you defend your faith.
yeah but does the fire they are in ever go out? i’ll try and be in the wheat. The chaff were stored away for burning.
Where you run afoul is the equating of “faith” to “good, full and active standing in the Holy Roman Catholic Church”. Current theological scholarship is extremely hesitant to make this jump.Vonsalza:![]()

this is the catholic problem as some protestant see it: you can work your way to heaven without faith.

Or maybe they are following God’s moral law without the need to declare it…such an opinion is not a moral decision

you missed the point. this supposedly atheist made a statement. no one is speaking for him.Verily, you cannot speak for those British atheists.
are you saying i don’t need faith just catholic doctrine?Where you run afoul is the equating of “faith” to “good, full and active standing in the Holy Roman Catholic Church”.
you are assumingI’m sure I needn’t remind you;
so we don’t have to believe in God because we don’t like the hand we have been dealt?God judges us in light of our circumstances.
